  1. Zoom Ultravibe Speed Craws in GP. Went through many bags of those.
  2. Tubes tubes tubes!
  3. Fish for smallies in my kayak most of the time but every now and then I like to anchor it so I can get out and wade around a bit (lots of shallow spots on the part of the upper Potomac I fish at the most). Usually have my mandals on but I've had a few slip ups and busted toes with those things. Appreciate any recommendations y'all might have.
  4. Pumped. I've got a milk jug full of change I'm itching to spend.
  5. I'll chime in. Near DC is north enough considering we just got near 2' of the white stuff. Itll be a Zoom Ultravibe speed craw in green pumpkin. Already know what eddy I'm gonna throw it in too.
  6. Different kind of pro but John Riggins is up there too.
  7. 6'8" MXF St. Croix Mojo Bass on a Shimano Sahara 2500 6'6" MF St. Croix Triumph (in need of repair and a reel) 6'6" MHF St. Croix Premeire on a Shimano Symetre 3000 7' MF St. Croix Tidemaster on a Shimano Stradic 3000 Primarily using this stuff for smallies and stripers. Saving up for a baitcaster / rod. Figure it's about time I try one out. Looking forward to trying some different techniques / doing some more LMB fishing.
  8. Gotta love the colors. 19" from a few weeks ago.
  9. Welcome dude. Fellow yak fisherman. Spend a lot of money up at that Bass Pro.
  10. Check out the Northeast Bass Fishing section. Bound to be some info over there.
  11. 6'8" MHF Premeire with a 3000 Stradic 7' Tidemaster MF with a 3000 Stradic Use the 7' Tidemaster a majority of the time. 10-20lb power pro. Throw BKD's a lot.
  12. Shinichi Fukae or Jimmy Houston
  13. Thanks man! Let us know how Anna is.
  14. I usually have to do a bit of hiking / climbing to get to the areas I bank fish. Picked up a sweet fanny pack for all the baits I bring along. Thats right. A sweet fanny pack. I get **** all the time but d**n is it convenient.
  15. Can't go wrong with a soft plastic craw. I like the zoom ultravibe speed craws in green pumpkin.
  16. Maybe some drop shotting?
  17. Nice rocks!
  18. One late summer evening trip out on the Upper Potomac last year. Pulled in smallies all afternoon long. Nothing big but it was a blast. Weather was perfect, only ones out on the water. Remember pulling in my last smallie of the day (biggest of the day too, 17") with this awesome sun set going on. Ended up just floating for a few taking it in. Awesome day.
  19. Anyone been out in or around Northern VA this week? Looking like a lot of ice is set to fall back here if it hasn't already. Guessing water temp is still gonna be at bit low regardless. Rain and 60 this Wednesday. Was thinking about trying Great Falls this weekend for some wallies and smallies. Although I'd take anything at this point. I've been sitting in my room tying various lures on my rods.
  20. If it's a slow day out on the kayaks we usually try and see who can bring in the biggest piece of trash. Found one of those plastic news paper box's once.
  21. Always have a small trash bag with me when I'm out anywhere. People suck.
  22. I've got lots and lots of fishing line and I usually find snapped rods all over the Billy Goat trail here in Virginia. Nothing good yet!
  23. Usually have my benchmade 940 on me and with the sun setting early in the winter months I also use a Petzl Tikka for light when I have to hike into various spots. Cant go wrong with Petzl or Black Diamond for head lamps.
  24. It was Lunga Resevoir but that's closed up permanently. Guess they found a bunch of unexploded ordnance Not a lake but my favorite place currently is on the upper Potomac in the kayak. Love the scenery and the smallie fishing is always good.
  25. Gotta love camping / fishing trips! If you get out on the Upper Potomac make sure you have some zoom ultravibe speed craws in green pumpkin. Smallies love em up there. And thanks, you do the same!
