  1. I'm not really targeting anything in particular so I'm rrying to find a more versatile bait that can be used to catch multiple species
  2. Hey I was just joking around, lifted square is actually one of my best friends. He took the joke and you took it to the next level. Also I never said it was close to the flats I just told him where I AM fishing. I also never said I was targeting LMB
  3. Yeah you don't know anything so why are you even replying
  4. Well I'm not exactly sure but I'm leaving out of the Baltimore "Carefree Boat Club" Marina. That's near the Baltimore harbor and the National Aqaurium so anywhere between an hours boat ride from there most likely
  5. I'm going to be fishing the Chesapeake Bay soon and I'm wondering the best baits for it. I'm considering a super spook if I'm closer to the shore and a swim jig if I'm just in the middle of the bay. So any recommendations for either by the shore or not by the shore? My lineup currently is: 1. Swim jig 2. Spoon lure 3. Deep diving crank bait (and if I'm by the shore I might throw a super spook at one point) So any changes I should make or recommendations at all?
  6. So as you may have seen in my previous topic I am going to be doing some upper Chesapeake Bay fishing and I need to know what kind and size rod I should get that is hopefully under 60 or 50 bucks, the cheaper the better as long as it still works. Also if you could give me any ideas for what baits and lures to use that would be great too.
  7. I am not sure yet but I think there are at least a few types of bass and I know for sure there are catfish so I'll be going for whatever I can get
  8. So I'm hopefully going to be fishing the Chesapeake this summer and I was wondering what I should use, how I should use it and maybe any good spots. I'll be leaving from the carefree boat club which is near the national aquarium so anywhere near the Baltimore harbor with maybe 20 or 30 minutes of there would be good (in boating time). So yeah if you could give me some tips on where, what, and how to fish the upper Chesapeake then that would be great!
  9. So I fish this small pond near my house a lot but the past 10 or so trips I have been getting skunked and am catching nothing. I used to at least see a few bluegill very shallow but now I see no fish at all. I've used all types of lures, crankbaits, whopper plopper, dropshot, fish head spin, spinnerbaits, and even frogs. I can't catch anything. Tips?
  10. I would probably say cedar would work the best because of its density
  11. Not sure where I'm going yet but those seem like good lures
  12. Does anyone who has been to Maine or lives in Maine know what the best kind of lures to use there are? I'm going there this weekend and I'm not sure what to use or if I should go get a new one, so please help me out!
  13. Thanks I'll try the jerk bait because everything else I already have XD
  14. So I know that there are striped bass in my pond but I'm not exactly sure how to get a hold of them, do I use a different lure or just go for a different are, I'm not sure, a little help?
  15. So I live right next to a pretty small pond that I fish a lot, I use a frog that doesn't work very well, and I just got a new crank bait that I caught one 13 inch chunker on. For now I'm going to keep fishing with my crank but I wanted to know what the best lures are for small town ponds. I have spinnerbait, spoons, popper, and jigs. Anything else that works great?
  16. Hello Shane
