Had an amazing day at Perry on Sunday at the Kansas Buddy Bass Team series. Took home first place trophy with our 26 pound 2 ounce bag. We found something a little different than everyone else and it paid off.
I was at La Cygne on Monday and it was terrible. We fished from 8-4 with only one white bass. We talked to six other boats on the water and only one boat had caught a fish. With the front that came in it seemed to shut down the fish.
If you print a square bill you can put more material in one spot on the inside to add stability, then just use an screw in eyelet and glue it in. I found that getting the curves right was the hard part about printing any bait. Another problem with printing it is getting the weight balance right.
If you want to add some bulk to your trebles you can also add some buck tail and cut it shorter than the hackle. That will cause the hackle to stand out a little more.

I am looking to buy a jerkbait/topwater rod, on a budget of $150 or less. I am not set on a certain brand. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thank you for any help.
I have over 15 Skeet Reese Rods. I love them a lot. They are sensitive and hold up pretty well. As for the color it doesn't really matter because the fish could care less if it is a yellow rod or a black rod. Well worth the money.
