  1. Hey guys, my birthday is in November and depending on how I do on my PSAT and SAT, I might get myself a new reel. I am on a very tight budget, and $100 is my absolute max. Eighty would be better. So far, I've been looking at the abu Revo s, orra sx, orra inshore, Lew's speed spool lfs, the new origin tx coming out, and the KastKing Spartacus Maximus. The thing is, the reel will be used and abused in saltwater. I need dependability and corrosion resistance above all else. Something that will only need a freshwater hose-down after wades. I think my top contenders so far are the Lew's and the orra inshore. On a side note, has anyone used the w&m skeet victory ii in saltwater?
  2. Seems the bass are in shallow. I just fished the Charles this evening, standing on a small(tiny, basically a 6' wood platform) dock. Used a 5" senko t rigged weightless, got 2 bass both 5 feet from the end of the dock. First cast a nice 16"er, third cast a 12"er.

  3. I'm having trouble finding a 7'-7'6" bait caster under $75 that is not a one piece rod. Suggestions? I like my or mhf.
  4. I need a 2pc spinning rod that can handle inshore specks/flounder/red fishing, yet also used for flipping and pitching for bass. Any recomendations for a specific rod or rod action/weight? I need it to be 7' to 7'6", 7'6" being preferred. I'd like for it to be under $75, otherwise I'll just get the star stellar lite or the hurricane redbone. This will be paired with a penn fierce and 303 braid for inshore, and 50# for heavy cover bass.
  5. Going out to bellamy resovoir tommorow, any tips?

  13. I have heard goid things about these. Since i dont fish super seriously, id like to keep the cost down. Bass pro has a six pack of 3 1/8oz and 3 1/16oz xps spinners for $10. Anyone try these? I have a spinner i made from scrap, and it works, just pretty big for trout and smallies.
