  1. I’ve turned off the circuit breaker and it helped momentarily. Still turns ok counter clockwise but very hard and slow clockwise. Call minn Kota they said to call technician. They ordered parts. Hopefully get it done soon.
  2. There’s not a lot of access for bank fishing in my opinion besides dikes and docks around boat landings. John C landing, Spiers, Russellville and the Hatchery has some bank you can fish. I’ve never really approached it from a bank fishing perspective so maybe someone else can give you some ideas. Be aware of the sliders. They are out and very territorial.
  3. If you travel to the duck pond be aware of what the wind is doing. A north wind makes it very rough in that area The west side of church island has a clear area near the bank. There are a couple of marked stumps so be aware of them. If you put in at Spiers you can quickly idle over to church island
  4. You’ve got some lanes you can travel but there’s pretty much the possibility of stumps anywhere out there. I have trails on my gps that I follow but you still must be careful as the level fluctuates
  5. Hopefully it will be settled down by then. We’ve had a lot of rain lately. The rivers and lakes are swollen and muddy. There’s plenty of good fishing right there close to Blacks.
  6. My understanding is that when largemouth have bright brown or red eyes they are in a spawn phase
  7. Did you have any luck? I go there to visit my mom as well. She has a boat docked on the Matanzas River, but I'm not sure how far I'd have to run to get to fresh water.
  8. We're going to have a small club tournament there on the 14th. Anyone have any suggestions for this time of the year? We are mainly trying to stay clear of the duck hunters until their season is over and none of us have ever fished here. Thought it would be something different to try. Thanks in advance
  9. Very good fishing there "when " it's on in Pawleys creek. Let me know if you come back. I will try to direct you to some fresh water spots. There is some good bass fishing on Waccamaw in that area. You just got to get out there
  10. Cooper River fishing is my favorite right now till April. A lot less pressure (except duck hunters) and a lot more room this time of year
  11. Fishing Santee River a lot now. Fish are moving into the creeks, but I am catching bigger fish outside of the mouth close by. Crank baits and plastics are working for me
  12. Santee river in SC. Chasing largemouth, the river doesn't have a lot of deep holes for them to stay that is not in current of some sorts. It seems they are ready to move into the warmer creeks where the shad are having a fall spawn but haven't really began to move inward yet. Catching better size fish just outside of these great shad spawn locations.
  13. I've been catching nice fish in the river at the creek mouths where the water has been slightly warmer. How will the cold rain the next few days affect them? The creek will be fed with cool water now. Will the bass draw back deeper or will the they continue to push after the shad? Just trying to learn more.
  14. Help please. I have a 3x that works good except when I am running my outboard motor (25 hp yamaha 4 stroke). When running the motor it will work a few minutes then go blank on the depth reading or goes very erratic showing very deep readings when I know it's not. I can restart it and it works again for a few seconds then back to bad reading. No issues when outboard is off or idling.
