I can't believe that they sell more blue than green? Almost everyone I see on here is green. Maybe there coming out w a new model of the NRX? They have recently changed the IMX to black. What do you think? I'm so ticked lol I won't have the money for a wk or two and I will not buy them in blue lol.

So the green NRX rods are on sale and at Monster it says the green ones are being discontinued, is this correct? If so I'm gonna die, was getting ready to purchase some in a wk or two. I had one in the blue and sold it.

That albright knot looks good, just tied up the FG knot and I thought it was easy to tie and it's pretty darn small. Guess I will try the other 2 also and see what works best.

Reflex lmao, yes recoil on my glx spinning rod. The double uni is really bad through them. Gonna give the FG a shot if it's smaller than the alburto. I'm gonna be tying 20lb braid to 10 or 12lb fluro.

I think I seen videos on this not, if I remember correctly it's kinda hard to tie but I will try it. What about the FG knot?

I want to try the whole longer leader thing on my spinning rod. I normally run it short enough so the knot stays outside the guides because the double uni knot I'm currently tying is horrible going through reflex guides. And maybe no knot goes through these guides well, but if you know or use one that does let me know, thanks.

Need storage bins a pretty good amount, have mostly Plano now and a cpl. Flambeau. Flambeau has some nice bins. I definitely need some bigger stuff. So which co. are you using, or do you use both and what are some of your favorite models, thanks guys.

Cheapest I found was $285 and $334 said will arrive between 20th 25th the place for $285 only has one in stock. Little nervous about not buying from one of the bigger stores over there. $285 seller is chovin (7426) with 100% feedback, anyone bought from this ebayer? One for $334 is fisherman - samurai (665) with 99.8% positive feedback. $619 So like buying from one person at $309 & $310 with free shipping. They were cheaper last time I looked maybe in October November $270 $280 free shipping. So that's it anyone buy from 2nd ebay vendor? Thanks guys!

I sent them a question but never got an answer on why the site won't allow me to order more than 2 of the same reel, and it wasn't a in stock issue as I tried it on several models? Somethin isn't working right every time I try to quote or reply it brings this reply up? Anyway greywalls I'm ordering the Metaniums and not through TW because they are $410 on there vs $260 through JT.

No I know it's not a reflection of anything, but I'm like u and enjoy fishing high end equipment. I thought for sure guys would of said I was crazy for fishing NRX rods and Metanium/Aldebaran reels as a co-angler because as I stated there is no doubt that fishing different boats every 2 wks as a co is gonna be harder on your gear compared to only being on your own boat in a rod locker when not being fished. I have only fished 2 tournaments so far and both times the boat I was in did not have a rod locker for me to use.

In the Shimano reels how do they make the different gear ratios, do they change the pinion gear sz or different amount of teeth on the larger drive gear?

So u see no reason not to buy what I wanna fish with? I mean there gonna get beat up a little more goin from boat to boat instead of sitting in a rod locker if I had my own boat.
