  1. Fish any canal in Kendall/Homestead region and you will have a good chance of catching many different species of exotics.
  2. Thanks
  3. Have been doing well by fishing on days that there is heavy rain, especially the first 20-30 minutes after a big storm. Frogs fished over heavy cover and creature lures fished deep are some of the techniques that are working for me. I took pictures of all the 5 pound or bigger bass I have caught these past 2 months.
  4. This Summer has been one of the best Summers for me for bass fishing in a long time. I have caught over 100 bass with the biggest one over 8 pounds in the past 2 months. I caught all the bass from shore and all where released.
  5. I have personally seen large bass swallow baby ducks whole so I am certain that a baby duck crankbait/topwater will be a good lure to make.
  6. The Everglades is one of my main bass fishing spots as well. Its one of the few places in South Florida where you can consistently catch big bass from shore.
  7. I love to fish for Bowfin and do not consider them ''trashfish''. The big ones fight harder pound for pound than big largemouth bass of equal size. Best thing about Bowfin is that they usually are always biting regardless of the conditions.
  8. Thank you Lou, I have been reading this forum for years and this is the first report I post here. I fish mostly in the Everglades/surrounding areas from the shore. Will post more reports.
  9. Good report! I have been doing very well as well in the Everglades/surrounding areas lately. The rain we have been having has definitely improved the bass fishing overall.
  10. This Summer has been one of the best Summers for bass fishing for me in a long time. Have caught over 100 bass with the biggest one over 8 pounds in the past 2 months. All bass where caught from the shore and all where released.
  11. If he is a good friend he will only give your spot to responsible bass fisherman who practice catch and release. Throughout the years I have given many friends some of my spots. Most have been grateful and release all they catch. Ask your friend to only give your spot to people he knows will take care the spot well.
  12. Thank you.I will post a report soon.
