  1. December was a great month for bass fishing for me and has gotten better the past 2 weeks.Should get even better with bass bulking up for the spawning period.
  2. Won't be surprised if it happens. It's extremely windy and a little chilly down here right now.Last week the temperature was in the 80's.Lets see what happens.
  3. All my bass rods are between 6'-6'6" and never had a need for a bass rod bigger than this.Have a couple rods that are +7' for Saltwater gamefish.
  4. Your welcome!Remember don't over train that is the #1 mistake people make when working out.If your upper body or lower body is sore don't train it.Give it at least 2 days for it to heal.Never train a muscle group when its sore!Trust me you will heal better if you give your body time to heal from the workouts. I am also training for a marathon now that I have in the end of the month and I am applying this myself. It will be my 8th year in a row running marathons and it keeps me motivated to run often though out the year.
  5. You can easily achieve this in less than 6 months.Eat well, train smart, don't overtrain, and you will reach this goal.Have done this along with running full Marathons and doing over 150 pushups nonstop with full range of motion.
  6. Catch more big bass
  7. I enjoy catching Bowfin and agree with you that they are underrated. They are extremely plentiful in the Everglades and give good nonstop action.
  8. Congratulations for catching big bass from land!
  9. Hard to tell the weight of a bass in a picture but I would say that bass is easily over 5 pounds .What was the length and girth?
  10. I agree with you that Bass fishing has become to commercialized to say the least.
  11. Crappie jigs-experiment with different colors and use the ones that work best in your area Missouri minnows under a small float-works well any where there are crappie
  12. Big bluegills are fun to catch and fight much harder than a bass of equal size.A lot of big bluegills have a bigger girth measurement than they have a length measurement. Do not be surprised if you catch a big channel catfish at night when fishing with breadballs when targeting big bluegills.
  13. Gars love jerkbaits, at least down here
  14. I have caught several bluegills over 2 pounds and over 13 inches on bread or jerkbaits.Caught most of these bluegills at nighttime.
  15. Congratulations on catching a big bass!
  16. I thank God for giving me the determination and persistence needed to fish well any body of water I decide to fish.
  17. 2015 was a great year for fishing for me.Caught many big bass along with large numbers of bass.I also caught many new personal best for different types of fish in both freshwater and saltwater.
  18. Lots of good fishing there!
  19. Jaguar Guapote are fun to catch on light tackle.Small spinnerbaits work well for them.
  20. I get rods more based on what I will use them for and how they preform than for just getting a rod since it is well known brand. For example my second favorite lure rod is worth less than $20 yet it has caught me lots of large bass.
  21. I have seen a couple bass nest with males on them down here in South Florida.
  22. There has been good bass fishing overall this whole year, you just have to experiment with lure presentations and find out what they want.
  23. Yes in March/April you can catch very large numbers of bass in the Glades,I have had days where I have caught over 100 bass from the shore all on artificials. Most of these bass are under 3 pounds with few over 5 pounds.I would recommend fishing Lake Toho or one of the Winter Haven lakes if your goal is Double Digit Bass.
