Going to be a majority of my fishing on lake wallenpaupack in PA for spring smallies and was wondering if I should stockpile on lucky crafts jerkbait and staysee's and some others as a good weapon to have . Any advice from anyone in that area or any advice at all would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks in advance everyone
That was at south pond in Hempstead . Got him on a green or black wolly bugger fly fishing for trout. Hit like a freight train . Really nice nice. They r in there a lot bigger I here but u need wadders at min to fish . I fish northern pa a lot a lot of pig up there
U can get a nice 14-16 ft John decked out for bass fishing with live wells and all the bells and whistles if your patient . I have a 15ft sea nymph decked out and carpeted seats 2 trolling motors 3 batteries and the seats for bad fishing and I picked it up for 2000$ . It's a bad ass fishing machine ! It's a 1982 completely redone with a 97 load rite trailer . Just take your time. Search Craigslist that's where I found all my boats . ! Good luck and happy fishing !
Finally got this baby home to PA! Can't wait for the summer !!!!
31 hours on the motor 10ft talon
80 minnkota 1199-959 hummingbirds and a 728 on the dash . Super clean!!!!
I own a pair of drift waders and absolutely love them. I've had everything from simms to cabelas and in between. Drift is the most comfortable in my opinion . Look them up they are not to much compared to the higher end of the market
Wasn't me I got a 15ft sea nymph just for that lake and the otherelectric only . Got 2 pigs out between 4-5 at the end of last season on spinnerbaits . Some big pigs in that lake if your patient !
Thanks a lot I'll def give u a shout if I make my way over there !!
New to the bass boating world and just wondering what I should expect out of this boat . Ride? Speed ? It's got a 175 hpdi on the back a 1199-959- and a 700 series hummingbird . As well as a 10ft talon. Single console .
Got ya . This boat has a 1199 and a 959 interlocked . My 1st time with humminbird side and down imagining so it's gonna take some time ! Thanks for the tips !
Only fished it once but it's a heavy heavy water traffic lake . Fishing is very hard in the summer and I have yet to uncover any spots . Best idea in the summer is to head over to docks along the northern part of the lake and use that as a starting point . I'm going to head up there this weekend I'll keep u posted if I get anything .
I'm willing to go 45 mins in any direction really. I heard fair view had a huge hump in it and be to real careful of it or I'll knock the lower unit off. I'm going to pick up the skeeter this weekend and I have the 15ft sea nymph for this tm only lakes . How many motor lakes are there around ? I know Wally and fairview . Is promised land one as well? Anywhere else u suggest to take the skeeter?
Just getting into bass fishing more ... Picking up my 1st boat this weekend a skeeter tzx195 . Looking to do some fishing and was wondering best lakes to really hit in that area. Also looking to pond hop as well. So far only fished shohola lake with my sea nymph 15fter and couple a couple of nice 4 lbers. Now looking to branch out . Any tips and spots would be greatly appreciated guys!
Caught 2 nice 4 pounders 2 weeks ago at shohola and a bunch of small guys throwing a firetiger and bluegill spinnerbait 3/8 ounce . Great for worms . Lots of weeds and drops on the lake . Only fished it a couple of times but heard some huge fish came out of that lake . Want to get to fairview myself one of these weekends ! Happy fishing !
Love the tug of a big smallie after stripping a nice wolly bugger or big streamer through the river . I use the sage smallmouth 7wt 7'11 paired with a lamson litespeed ... There no better feeling when your stripping and they just slam it !
I'm from queens NY, sometimes fish out on the island but primarily in PA. I have a place near Milford PA and I usually fish around there . Shohola lake, fairview lake , lake wallenpaupack. Those are some .
