  1. I have a Daiwa Megaforce I bought a few years back (stupid mistake, I know) and I haven't had any problems with it until last weekend. All of a sudden the line guide thingy went all screwy. I took a video so you can see what exactly is wrong with it. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix it, or if it is even worth getting fixed. http://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa112/aceshigh16/?action=view&current=P5200078.flv
  2. wow thats gonna take a lot more than I thought haha, thanks alot though! yeah most fly rods come as a 4pc. I fly fish for steelhead and salmon on the off season of bass. The rod is actually a "switch" rod. a hybrid fly rod and spey rod that can be used for both techniques of fly fishing.
  3. I just bought a a brand new 4 pc fly rod off of ebay and it was all perfect except on one of the pieces the plug came out of the end (see picture) and I was wondering what kind of glue I could use to put it back in?
  4. Isnt fishing season closed this time of the year? I know in southern ontario its not open till the last saturday of June
  5. I would try selling them on www.kijiji.ca (mods I hope its not wrong to post that) also, what do you have for sale? I might be interested.
  6. That beer bottle trick is really cool, I'll have to try it later this afternoon As for the cracker challenge, I ate 6 in one minute one time. I think the world record is 7.
  7. Playin about 3 years. Mosty play classic rock, metal and blues. Right now I'm working on scuttle buttin' by stevie ray vaughn. I can almost play it up to speed. I play in church too. As for recommendations, download a guitar tab program like guitar pro or power tabs. These programs will really help your timing. For gear I have: Epiphone Explorer with seymour duncans. Homemade Eddie Van Halen Frankestrat. Peavey Windsor Half Stack which I'm try to sell cause its too big, I'll be getting a peavey classic 50 combo instead. Behringer V-ampire which I'm also selling. I've got a bunch of pedals too, I'm making a pedal board soon. heres a picture of my frankenstrat:
  8. I was just about to mention that, she was the only good part of that movie soooo hot.
  9. What river is that? nice fish btw, I wish they still had big populations of Atlantics in the creek I fish.
  10. Yeah there is barely any salmon left in our creeks right now, now's the time for fall and winter steel heading. Since bass season opens last Saturday in July, this gives me fishing to do in between seasons. And after labour day I don't get out on the lake to often either so the salmon keeps me busy.
  11. ive got a cheap daiwa 9'6 9wt with steelhead mastery line. It does the job but its really heavy and not reliable. I am getting a Redington rs4 10' 8wt for the spring
  12. really? y is that? overfishing? our creek is open from the 4th saturday in april till the 30th of september. After the 30th we have to fish south of a certain bridge, till new years where we have to fish south of bridge even further downstream. I guess this way our fishery is protected from overfishing.
  13. haha thats actually sperm sometimes when the fish is loose the force of gravity makes it do that
  14. Here are some pictures of some salmon and a few steel head from this season so far. All fish were caught fly fishing, and were released. HUGE male chinook A male brown trout my buddy caught
