  1. I live in Albuquerque so we both get the deals here!
  2. Wow, this is my very first post (besides introduction) and it has 400+ views!!! Thanks to all who read!
  3. That's the goal! I'm going to get a degree in marketing and a degree in business. I know that it's very hard to make the elites so as a backup I am going to own and operate a Fishing Guide Service on Sam Rayburn!
  4. Thanks to all you guys!
  5. WOW! What kind of Curado's were they? The good ol 200e's?
  6. Thanks Darren! I do appreciate it!
  7. These experiences I had were both at Dick's Sporting Goods, but these deals can happen at any sporting goods store that doesn't specialize in fishing, but rather basketball and things like that. Now I am going to tell you two stories about my experience at Dick's Sporting Goods. Here is the first: One day, my father and I decided to take a stroll through Dick's. We are looking around until I get to the rods section. I saw four Abu Garcia Veritas Rods (MSRP: $100). I looked at the tag and it had a red price tag on it, indicating that it was on sale and the price said $70.00. Not the biggest sale in the world, but I was in the market for new rods and I liked these rods. I decided I was going to purchase two rods. When we got the the cash register, the tags were ringing up at $35.00 because all red tags in that department were half off. So in the end, you saved $65.00. This deal was obviously too good, so I picked up the other two rods as well. Instead of spending $400 on four rods, I only spent $140. I was a happy camper that day. Now for the next, not as exciting story: Just recently, My father and I went to Dick's again, and we were looking around. My father was in the Fishing department while I was looking for shorts because I needed some for fishing. I saw a few clearance racks all bunched up. I saw some shorts there, so I decided to take a look. As I was looking, I saw a few G. Loomis shirts. These shirts retail new for $25.00, but the tag said $15.00, so I told my father, and we took 6 shirts with us to the register. The woman there said "Wow, this is a good deal; 10 dollars off and buy one get one half off"! That's when my Dad and I looked at each other and knew we were going back for more. By the end of it, we had 10 shirts that we purchased for $12.00 each instead of $25.00 Moral of the story, check out your local sporting goods store often if you want to get good deals! Do you guys have any stories like this? I'd love to hear them!
  8. Well, you guessed it; I'm new to this forum. I've used many other forums before, so I should know what I'm doing, but we will have to see about that. My name is Trey Wagy, and I am 15, but I am respectful to everyone. What do I do? I am currently fishing the Texas Team Trail, but I live in New Mexico. If you keep up with the TXTT YouTube shows, you might have seen me in the 2015 Sam Rayburn show. I'm just here looking for a good way to use up the free time I have! Thanks for your time!
