Hey guys, I just a new to me bas boat it it's got some oxidation on the top of the hull..the sides seem good just the top is faded and has that hazy look..not sure if I want to use a buffer or not..was told caroliite..anything else? To polish then wax, or one or the other ?

just wondering if anyone here used or uses rain Shadow rod blanks. Also, what is their pricepoint? Thank You!

Looking into upgrading my boat..looking at an 08 ranger z20 comanche, 08 nitro x2 (20ft) or possible skeeter zx225.(Lil over my budget)all the ranger and nitro are both roughly $30k..also a possible I think 2011 ranger 188vx (has a 175 yamaha) for $28k..with 11 rods and reels and tackle (unknown brands)

Every size bait is different in weight and resistance when casting..I can't really explain it cause I go by a feel for it..I love my sx and it isn't for anything lighter than 3/8 really with 14lb line on it..that's WhT I use

I use P Line and have the best at tying knots, abrasion, etc..only problem, like stated, it has memory..that's the one problem I have with it.and copolymer does sink, but slowly

I've decided now, since I live in CT, im more than likely going 5o wait till next season to buy a boat. There is a boat show in January every year so I'll be able to get more in depth with ranger, skeeter, triton, etc. .qybe that won be the best too, pending g on where you live

I was gonna say, when I was on the skeeter, we were going over the top of wakes from other boats and we hit some from a couple 50+ft boats and was fine..we hit the regular wakes at 65+ ..hit one at 70ish and didn't notice it

I would love to look at basscat but in new england, there aren't any dealers u less you drive quite a ways

I didn't look into triton cause ik the big ones are way to expensive..I'm going with the tzx 190 with a 175 vmax cause the deer was telling me that for 2016, the 190 is going up $10k and coming g loaded to compete with ranger z118c, which is loaded and in that 18ft class..however, I like the layout of ranger better

I'm looking into the tzx 190 myself..skeeters only come with yamaha..I did a demo last year on the Delaware during the bass elite series..the guy said it would be sacraligious..like putting a Ford or chevy small block into a Mopar car..I was told ranger over skeeter but I got my eyes on the skeeter..they handle ridiculously well

Is this useful on almost anyboat? Who has it mouneed on a bass boat like a skeeter or ranger?

It's up in the air right now for me...I might just stay with regular down imaging on the bow if I don't decide to switch to hummingbirds

The Garmin looks cool, but the quality in the picture sucks and also looks like it's going g to take a while to understand

Anybody ever install rigid l.e.d deck lights or ones on the trailers? Is it easy?

The Revo S isnt a bad reel either. i wanted to try the orra but i baught the revo winch instead after i had numerous problems with the orra winch model

Can you get the normal motor for it and just not go fast?

Mason, I fell In love with the skeeter brand after the BASS elite on the Delaware river in Philly lastyear. I was able to go out a demo of the fx20 and nitro z9. The fx20 was ridiculous!

I live in CT. The guy I talked was a guy who does tournaments all over the east. It started cause I asked bout talons or power poles and I told him the boat. I believe they have the same hull design from The tzx to the fx which is why I'd want the skeeter. When people see a ranger, they already know quality. The tzx is at 30k but next year it's going g to 40k to compete with ranger z 118

I'm from CT. I haven't go na out as much as I did last year, but I feel that I caught better fish..it's tough..I've only caught em finesse style..I missed the spawn this year lol. But guys in my club are still bringing in 14-20 lbs bags
