  1. Yes sir - I know I'm almost asking for a miracle here haha - especially tailored to a specific region. I will check out In-Fisherman, I appreciate that resource. Hopefully some of the local guys can filter in pieces of information and maybe I can put some pieces together and make something out of it.
  2. I am hoping to get better at identifying the different types of vegetation - specifically in my region (Florida). Not only would I like to be able to identify the different types, but I would also like to decipher between which vegetation produces best in that particular season. For Instance - Buggy Whips (Bulrush) seemed to produce fairly consistent through the summer. Now that fall is here and the buggy whips all seem to be dying off and starting to look dead - I didn't get any bites on the same shore I caught fish on a month ago. I know this could be many factors, but it has me thinking that the change in vegetation has a lot to do with changes I am seeing. Lily pads produce well in winter/spring due to the hard bottom and the correlation to the spawn. Does anyone have any resources that identify different types of vegetation and how the bass relate year around, and why?
  3. Welcome aboard! I'm up here on the Harris Chain - let me know if you're ever up this way.
  4. I will try to catch the weigh-in online and root you on!
  5. I surely will!! Where's it going to be at? Nice job on this last tournament!
  6. Awesome!! Does that mean you won a new boat????
  7. I was thinking about this today. I try not to yank on mine too hard - it's not young in age.
  8. I am thinking he is way past his break-in period Edit: Sorry - I commented before I finished reading the thread
  9. That is EXACTLY how if feel too Catt
  10. What are the dimensions of your garage? Any chance it will go in at an angle - fitting diagonally? That is what I did with my 18' Ranger...I needed 23' of space. My garage was only 18' deep.

Also glad you are okay - was wondering how you were doing with the flooding up there. Good to hear another good report.
  12. Stay safe Mike. My thoughts are with you bud. It's fixing to get hairy for you - at least it slowed down a bit over Cuba. Hang in there bud, hope you and your family endure little hardships and heartache during this beast.
  13. Good stuff. I can respect and appreciate that.
  14. Exactly what I do.
  15. The maintenance voltage on my Battery Tenders are 13.1 across the board. They charge at 13.6
  16. I guess it is just the way I was taught and what you see some of the pros (the ones I follow) do; Hunter Shryock is one example. If you have a fish hooked up and he has momentum swimming towards the boat - it's much easier for me to use that momentum to get them into the boat. If not, I just use the net.
  17. I use the Trokar mainly for my flipping hooks. They are a little too beefy for my worm applications.
  18. I am pretty sure I have some of the superline hooks - but I'm going to go through my order history at Tacklewarhouse to be sure. I think I will order some of the Owner wide gap and try them. Thanks a ton guys.
  19. The Lunker City Texposers is what I've been using most recently. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Lunker_City_Texposer_Worm_Hook_5pk/descpage-LCTEXPO.html
  20. I am having issues finding a wide gap hook that does not bend out. I have tried multiple brands now (Gamakatsu, Mustad, Lunker City Texposers...) and they all end up bending out. Granted, I am probably a little more tough on equipment than most people...especially here in the thick stuff in Florida. It's nothing for me boat flip a 4 lber. But I can't help to think there is a brand out there that will be tough enough for this stuff. What are you all using? Does anyone else struggle with this?
  21. Always when the big motor is on!
  22. All of this talk makes me want to go fishin!'!
  23. Great, great post - and thanks for sharing. I knew you were divulging some absolutely amazing information. Thanks again.
  24. I'm so jealous lol
