Dealt with these a lot in Texas growing up. Every time it would flood...this is one of the things you watched for the most. It would always amaze me at their ability to overcome the flood waters.
Topwater.
Out of all of the fishing I do...I've only caught about 3 fish on topwater.
I do primarily fish a heavily pressured fishery....which is part of the reason...as I have caught my only topwater fish on other bodies of water...
Youtube is your friend.
Just search whatever brand unit you have (Lowrance, Humminbird etc) on YouTube and there are tons of How-To Videos available.
Doug Vahrenberg (sp) is one of my favorites for Humminbird.
Yeah, that's a tough situation. Hope it works out for you. Sounds like you've identified what actions you need to take.
You're right...a lot of these coaches are more like babysitters. Most of the issues I see are like you say: lack of drills focusing on mechanics for position players/pitchers/catchers and/or overworking them during batting practice by not limiting their reps. After 5 or 10 swings their mechanics severely suffer due to fatigue...and they don't identify that.
We play travel ball as well...my boys are in 14u...so I can relate to EVERYTHING in your post...including the guys on the other team driving home after the game...with their wives and children.
Funny...we got 2nd place this weekend too...lost to some BIG boys men in the championship game...We fought hard though.
That is cool that your facility was modeled after Fenway...that is one of my favorite parks. It's definitely on the bucket list.
um...I think so buddy
It hasn't completely changed. I still take every opportunity to teach my kids etiquette every chance I get...not just on the boat...but in life....
I do see it all of the time here in Central FL...horrible fishing etiquette. I just usually shake my head and move on.
I do have a deck extension. It was already installed on my boat when I got it. It extends all of the way back to the drivers console. I could not imagine not having it.
I have not drilled holes in my rod locker. I put my rods longer than 7' on the deck and leave them there. But...I don't have a passenger console so they just barely fit.
Mine too...
I always say I am proactive to a fault at times....better than being lazy, I suppose.
Enjoying your restoration bud...I have a 374v, so if you have any questions I might be able to help you out...unless it is related to your passenger console...I don't have one of those.
