  1. Ok. And calculate 10%. Then how do I weigh the tongue?
  2. The boat and trailer I own have had many owners. How do I determine if the boat is sitting properly over the trailer wheels? It is a 15' fiberglass so it is not light. Thanks for any advice in advance. -Danny
  3. What does a tow vehicle boat battery charging system entail?
  4. https://www.bassmaster.com/video/bassmaster-classic-live-2017 Check times they are broadcasting.
  5. Shouldn't they have announced this April 1st...
  6. Check around for a local store that carries fly rods. Sometimes they offer classes. Or search for a fly fishing club in your area.
  7. I think it would make it very interesting if a bonus were awarded for larger bass. Double points over 5... hmmmm think of the possibilities...
  8. I don't know what kind of boat you have but maybe this will work? I use something similar with a generic Bass Pro cover.
  9. I know the 7.5" TH (Tim Horton) Big Bear Worm floats. I believe all the other "hand poured" items will float as well. But please check with the company. https://profoundoutdoors.com/product-category/klone_series_soft_baits/
  10. ... I was looking forward to the "feel" off... I guess it feel the same as the US version.
  11. Danny from San Antonio asks how many casts do you think you make per day in practice or a tournament? And or do you have a "fishing specific" exercise and nutrition program?
  12. My vote would be Drop Shot or Neg Rig.
  13. 3M 5200 Marine Sealant. It is slow to dry and can sag but once it dries it is tough and waterproof.
  14. Check the thumb bar. If you hold up the reel at eye level is the thumb bar perfectly horizontal to the frame or is it tilting down on one side? If it is tilting down it may not be disengaging fully. Take it out of the reel and bend it carefully until it is horizontal again. Maybe even a little past horizontal the other way for a little pre load.
  15. I would go passive aggressive here. Take the rod and reel you need new line on and cast it right in front of his trolling motor. Then yell like a maniac that you just hooked a 10 pounder while his trolling motor spools you.
  16. Does a bear TRD in the woods?
  17. So am I fishing a "Ned type bait"? Heh...
  18. My first name is you... Heh. I find this thread interesting. How many anglers are fanatical about color in choice of lures, line hooks and weights but dismiss the giant colored thing they are fishing in.
  19. Thanks. I've got one coming from So Cal. I zip tied it for the weekend.
  20. @parkerg31 That's exactly the area I fished for the past two weekends. I only found fish in the upper left quadrant of the screen grab. Mostly on the drop offs and bushes on the point by the dock. I really thought that valley would funnel the fish in. Maybe they just aren't ready yet.
  21. Thanks for all the replies. 204,000 fingerlings were stocked in the lake a year and a half ago about a year after the water came back up. These bass are now just getting to the 12-14" range. Since they weren't born on the lake I wonder where they will spawn? @parkerg31 What baits did you use to catch your fish? The water temperature is just reaching 63 degrees. The lake is called Medina Lake if you want to look it up on Navionics Web app. It is North West of San Antonio about an hour. There is one giant flat in the north east section of the lake and I have concentrated in this area near the main lake entrance to this flat. I have caught a few fish but not many. In the summer my partner and I will each land 20 or so fish per morning out. I'm just having trouble locating them now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. There are hundreds of thousands of fish somewhere....
  22. I fish a highland reservoir that is deep and clear. Much of the shoreline drops off sharply to the riverbed. Will Largemouth spawn on any of these ledges? The water is anywhere from 30' to 80' deep ten feet from shore. The lake was very low until a few years ago so all the ledges and shelves have lots of brush and bushes on them. In some cases the bass would have to cover miles to get to a shallow cove that I would consider typical spawning areas.
