  1. Wall of text. Could not finish.
  2. Imbalance. Yes I'm aware. Bass are predated and a predator. Fish, otters, birds and snakes all predate bass, as well as other animals.
  3. So if man doesn't intervene, bass will over run the water ways? Yeah that isn't science, it's silly.
  4. It's silly to think that bass would "overpopulate". They would only populate to the available food supply. Bream would still eat their eggs and they'd have to be weary of being eaten themselves by bigger fish.
  5. This is not even close to true. No traces of fish slime in a bony bass mouth.
  6. I don't approve of this. I have and may in the future eat bass, I discourage the promotion of the practice. Bass are to be game fished for catch and release enjoyment imo.
  7. You aren't the only one. I've been lucky enough to catch a 2-3lb fish about 8 of the last 12 times out, but I will put in some serious time to get it. 3.5 hours yesterday and 1 2.5lb fish. This comes right two days after buddy caught 22lbs in a tourney. He says they're all in the grass...I didn't get a single bite in the grass.
  8. Blue herring decimated my dads Koi pond.
  9. I really shouldn't complain because I have female company but she misses more fish in a single trip than I've ever caught. I say "baby it's okay if your lure touches a tree or brush, it doesn't mean that a bass hit it".
  10. 4.5 lbs give or take .5 lb
  11. It's really amazing to see how bad he and christie pulled away from the pack. I cannot comprehend all those guys that got blanked.
  12. I use a $50 snagging real on a pvc built apparatus. My anchor is a $2 transmission funnel filled with concrete to weigh 2.5lbs.
  13. I really like the small and light architecture of the xs. My 115 is 400lbs. One thing that I would like about the 4 stroke is that the exhaust gases are less polluted and therefore pollute the water less. I may be wrong though.
  14. I always thought that I wanted an ulterra or terrova but I bought a boat with a maxxum 70 and I love it...don't even want the other gps fancy electric steer model anymore.
  15. They all need adjustment from slop that developes in time.
  16. Bow si is a must have for me.
  17. Yeah I ordered a 93sv a few weeks ago and I keep calling but they keep delaying.
  18. I don't believe those are chirp models.
  19. Some a hole flew by in front me when I was on my board at night with full red green and white nav lights. He came by within 10 yards going at least 35 40 mph. He probably thought he was being cute.
  20. And not only is it considerably less than open cell foam, as if that has any bearing on the conversation at all, which it doesn't, it has magnitudes less water absorbtion than any wood product. In wood, the cell itself will take, or absorb the water. In the case of foam, the interstitial spaces between the cells can hold slight amounts of water (by weight comparison). @gimruis Yes a little wood can ruin a boat. In the case of the tracker, it is in the floor itself. This will enivitably rot out and the floor area where this is located will need replacement. This happened to my sea ray bowrider that had wood not only in the floor, but in the transom as well. I personally was appalled to find this, as it seemed like poor building practice to use wood in a boat in this manor. The transom was soft and severly compromised, it needed replacement, as it also let water leak into the bilge. The floor was weak where standing, walking, and general boating activities took place, not to mention the seats pedestals were bolted to this rotted wood also, and they could no longer support the weight of a human being. All of this happened to a boat that had wood in it, under carpet, and between fiberglass in the transom. Had there been foam there instead, or laminate fiberglass, or plastic, the boat would not have been "junk". So it is not without experience that I strongly advise against buying any boat that has wood in the deck, underneath carpet, pressure treated or not. The op asked "ranger or tracker?", and my response is "Ranger".
  21. It ain't all that. You're making it more complicated tban necessary. Bread in one container, then fold up all your meat and cheese and whatever in another. Skip the condiments if you need to. Bread doesn't keep well with crap on it.
  22. Weight? Where is "land of giants"?
  23. Keep the bread separate from the cheese, meat, and condiments yo. That's how you keep it fresh.
  24. Thanks. Lowered it 1/4 more and now it's perfect
  25. That wouldn't be closed cell then. That would be sun deteriorated or heat deteriorated and then be open cell.
