  1. I think Picasso is going to start making the TT stuff under their name now, but dont quote me on that. Otherwise I have been looking at the Eco Pro tungesten as well.
  2. Agreed^^ Besides the NCAA dosent seem to like our school very much right now anyway.
  3. Panthers fan :-[, lol I know how it feels. I would much rather see them make it and lose rather than just not be in it.
  4. Hmm lets see -you could use it for bedding fish -you could put a jigging spoon in it for a different look to suspended fish -you could put it on a jighead and swim it to make it look like shad - or you could put it on a spinnerbait for a finesse look
  5. Finish school, then put it all in the bank and live off the interest. Oh yea and buy this
  6. I dont think that it matters for some things like Flipping, but on my drop shot rod I have 4lb test and having a reel with 50lb pound max drag wouldnt mean anything if it was not smooth. If the drag is not smooth it would be jerky letting out line and with lighter lines that I like to use would cause a lot of problems. I agree with you about the wives tale too, I dont mean to call out Revos but they do it the best. Having a reel with 24lb drag is good, but in reality most guys probably only use around 6-10lbs of drag when regularly bass fishing.
  7. http://www.***.com/Sebile_Magic_Swimmer/descpage-SMS.html#multiview I would recommend the Sebile swimmers, the 95 and 125 are the best producers for me. The greatest part is that any Med Heavy or Heavy rod can throw them and I have caught fish from 9in all the way up to 5 and 6lbrs on them I have the sexy swimmer also and was not too impressed with the build of it compared to the sebile. With the joints made of what seems to be only plastic I can see them breaking on a big fish.

    Mop jigs

He was prob referring to the 08' Classic, Alton Jones took a bunch of Booyah jigheads to the Buckeye factory and had the Mop Jig skirts put on. I work them like a regular jig, just a lot slower. If you cannot feel every little rock that it is crawling over, then you are moving it too fast. Although there are those crazy times where I have caught fish swimming one.
  9. Yea, you know come to think of it something was definately up with yalls beaches last time I was there :D
  10. Haha next time Ill have to look at a forcast rather than listening to my buddy, still 45 is better than 30. Also, yall So. FL guys prob dont have a few inches of this white crap thats everywhere up here.
  11. Youll have to go farther than that, Atlanta got it and so did we. My buddy says Clearwater and St. Petersburg FL are in the 60's right now, so I'm headed down there, who's with me lol
  12. Its the Zillion they made for us, Go Chants lol Haha but I think Redline got it, its just a Zillion made for saltwater use.
  13. Well for $15-20 bucks you can try it yourself and make up your mind. This sounds like a good idea for everyone looking at the reels in their program. http://www.***.com/demoprogram.html?page=demoprogram
  14. G Loomis BCR 854 GLX Shimano Metanium MG 15lb Berkley 100% Trilene
  15. If you put most topwater lures in a pool and swim under them and look up most of them look black or really dark against the sky anyway. So I think color on a topwater does not matter as much as in other techniques. Especially with all the great color patterns out there, most of the bellys on them are white, and I believe that the majority of cool colors are to catch fisherman. However there must be an exception, and I would say with lures that are clear or semi transparent this may not be as much the case. Also with finicky fish that nose up and suck them down I would place an importance on color.
  16. They have a new line of rods with micro guides if that is what you are refering to. http://www.***.com/E21_Carrot_Stix_Micro_Guide_Casting_Rods/descpage-CMGC.html Ive handled and used a few of them and they are easily the lightest rods Ive ever held. They are up there with the steez in that department (Idk about the Cumulus). Even the sensitivity is really good on them, over all I was very impressed with them.
  17. I killed them on this last time I went out, caught them as fast as I could cast. It throws a country mile and its a piece of cake to work.
  18. Still throwing my grandpas Original Storm ThinFin, and still catching fish on it.
  19. http://tackletog.com/cal/2010/06/27/icast-speculation-daiwa-shimano/ http://www.japantackle.com/Shimano/Shimano_Scorpion_XT_1000.htm Those two pretty much sum up the specualtion, now wether or not they actually bring it over is another story but I would put like a 90% chance that they will.
  20. Shimano may be bringing this reel to the US this year, but we will have to wait untill ICAST to find out. http://www.japantackle.com/Shimano/Shimano_Scorpion_XT_1000.htm
  21. If you are looking for a large profile, light weight jig that wont get hung up here you go. Jig with skirt and plastic cover Under the Skirt ;D Pj Lures Ultimate Jig It weighs 5/16oz and makes use of a skirt forward design where the skirt is placed in front of the weedguard. The white plastic piece comes with the jigs and slips over the line tie and makes it extremely weedless, and can be colored to match the skirt color.
  22. The first two look a lot like Bandits the second two are prob Norman dd 14's or DLN's
  23. Yea, it was a great game, we were all really pumped because baseball is one of our strongest sports here but there is always next year I guess. I dont have a pic of how I rig it but it looks just like the one on the left in the pic. The middle one is a dead crawfish and the two outside ones are the fake ones.
  24. I pull the weights out and texas rig it, or for fishing deep just rig it on a football head cast to a rockpile and hold on.
  25. Jigfish10 do you ever lose the rabbit fur or does it stay on there pretty well? Either way thats one awesome looking jig , if you ever want to sell any of them I'd take a few.
