Lol see it all the time, I constantly have to tell my wife to stop reeling the lure into the first line guide, she gets excited with every fish and reels it all the way in lol
I found a 3 shelf rolling cart with rod racks on both sides on Craigslist, I keep it in the house cause Texas is humid, the plastic pieces that held the rods were a bit hard and I had to force the rod into place so I replaced them with velcro straps. Before that shelf I just put them in an empty corner. I always leave baits tied on since I use them often, just don't reel down to much before storing the rod, it could damage the line or rod eventually.
I tried a fishing solunar app and everytime it told me it was a great day I wouldn't catch anything, everytime it said a poor day you could see the top water action walking up to the river. The app was all backwards.
I agree with the social part, none of the schools around here have a fishing program and the only bass club I found requires a boat for tournaments, I'v been looking for bank fishing clubs and tournaments for years and when I finally found some information online I had missed it by 3 months.
Lol my wife was like that when I got back into fishing, she thought a $50 combo from Cabelas was to much, now I got her fishing and when we go to the store she encourages me to go over budget for stuff.
Hello everyone, my name is Thomas, just got back into fishing last year. Currently saving up for a boat, I was going to get a kayak but I got my wife addicted to fishing too, but she won't touch the fish lol, so I gotta stay close by and I would probably go exploring if we had kayaks. I look forward to using the forums, I spent alot of time on YouTube last year but I'm running out of videos so I figured I would try these forums for information now.
