  1. beautiful man, personally i like sprays like that on the head no fish is perfectly symmetrical why should the lures be

  5. i actually got them as rat tails and now i think i want to try them out likely on shakey heads and wacky rigged we'll see about t-rigging them
  6. i have never thrown a wacky rig, i have also never thrown a trick worm but im going to change that and fish a trick worm wacky rigged
  7. Really depends on the baits you are planning on throwing. Personally I think a dobyns fury 806sb is a fairly versatile, budget friendly swimbait rod. The weight and bait types will really dictate what the gear should be though. what specific baits are you throwing?
  8. thanks guys i think I'm going to keep doing it, they're just fun to do
  9. thank you its just something to keep me from going crazy since i cant fish in the winter
  10. thank you that is one of the ones i was very happy with i just wish i put some orange under the throat
  11. so I got some squarebill blanks a while ago and finally got around to airbrushing them I'm pretty happy with the results, some details didn't turn out so great but for the first time painting squarebills I'm very happy. critiques definitely welcome looking forward to some input.
  12. the bass pro spring fishing started today up here so i took advantage and got 5 bass pro planos which will likely be holding all of my soft plastics now. 4 spools of 832, 3 packs of snaps for building a swimbait box, 2 packs of speed shads, 2 warpigs, 1 pack of zoom trick worms and 1 pack of roboworms. I'm officially stocked for the season and my holidays are booked from opening weekend to july 8th
  13. i use mine to skip jigs, well at least that's my plan for it, so far it has seemed to have helped when skipping around the house
  14. don't really have a main tackle box i am a plano guy, i keep everything in planos except for my big swimbaits like huddlestons that kind of thing. once i started using planos i could not go back they are so much better than one big tackle box. but as far as organization goes i organize by type of bait, for example: all my frogs are in one box all of my squarebills are in another and so on and so on
  15. something i ordered a while ago finally complete, cant complain about the wait when this is the amazing work that comes out a custom perch shine glide
  16. 5" body and a 4" tail weight is 1oz dry, 1 and 3/4oz when wet
  17. Custom maker, pretty sure it's rabbit the tail is a zonker strip and they feel the same
  18. We all know the struggle my friend
  19. prefer spro to live target both are nice but spros are more durable and generally do better for me because of the more narrow design
  20. berkley skinny cutter both in the 90 and the 110
  21. throw the 7 if you get the 5 you are just going to want the 7 so skip a step
  22. personally i just use an ewg mustad grip pins are my favourite. as for the tubes i use phenix tubes, thinking about grabbing some yum tubes though
