  1. there are a few ways to fish a chatterbait slow and steady is always good i like to add some twitches in for some erratic action. stop and go also has it's place though it works better in clear water since fish can see a little better. i have had plenty of fish hit it on the initial drop especially with a subtle trailer like the strike king blade minnow.
  2. i bet you thought this was a hog when reelling it in
  3. a shirt Edit: sorry couldn't resist. normally i am wearing an under armour or nike dry fit long sleeve or if it's a little more windy just a long sleeve sweater
  4. I was also looking at the st.croix mojo bass 7'1" med/hvy
  5. it definitely does thanks a lot
  6. you could throw an old reel on it and use it fir your lure retriever
  7. it's more for casting jigs not so much for pitching them
  8. i personally really like abraz-x, i've tried vanish and i've never had more problems with break offs
  9. agreed i did this as well when my veritas broke now i have a new 7' veritas and a 6'6" jerkbait / frog rod
  10. ok i'm thinking it would be a good idea to have a rod that allows me to feel the bottom fairly well for fishing jigs, Carolina rigs & larger worms. what rods do you guys use for this i have searched a bit and haven't really found anything any suggestions are welcome it will most likely be paired with a Daiwa Tatula not sure which ratio either a 6 or a 7 forgot to mention budget i would likely be looking at $150-$175
  11. a brand new red eye shad
  12. The main issue I have with them is time it takes them to ship I ordered a few buffs and it took them 3 weeks to ship the order, not for it to get to me for it to leave their warehouse it took 3 weeks. Now I understand it's international shipping but come on.
  13. most likely i just don't know for how long exactly Edit: the almighty google has revealed that it should take 3-5 minutes in the microwave on medium or medium-high
  14. quick tip silica packs can be re-used if they collect moisture just put them in the oven for a couple hours at 200*
  15. the account may have since been deleted or maybe the user was issued a warning for that post
  16. pike open up may 21st but there are none in my home lake
  17. ya i'll probably just wait for the old type r to go down in price and pick one of those up instead
  18. definitely not fun it seems dumb that you cannot even target the species (even for catch and release) until the 4th Saturday in june
  19. i know your pain, but at least when the weather gets better you can actually fish i have to wait until they are already in the summer pattern before i start fishing. freaking Ontario change your fishing regulations
  20. chatterbaits & jigs
  21. none in my area do
  22. i like the xcalibur xcs200 but they are hard to find. *side note if anyone has some they are willing to sell please let me know
  23. pretty sure you have to make an account
  24. i probably would have fished a spook instead of a popper, a jerkbait could have been good or a chatterbait/swimjig
  25. depends on what the main food source in your lake is. chart/black back works well in stained i would also assume bluegill does since it's the most common food source for bass to eat.
