  1. only difference really is the fleck in the glacier where as the pearl is just white
  2. well why don't we start it then
  3. so i'm thinking about joining a local club to fish tournaments as a co angler now i know what to bring and to be polite to whatever boater i am paired with. the questions i have is how exactly do you prepare for a tournament, since i have never fished a tournament i really have no idea my feeling is that i should be stocked with anything i might need bring 5-6 rods, pretty much fish whatever the boater wants and only give input if i'm asked for it.
  4. i stayed at this place a few years ago with my dad the service is top notch. from what i remember i would be throwing a lot of lipless cranks and spinner baits for bass and pike. the pike really seemed to like anything baby bass coloured. but if you throw perch or bluegill coloured then you should catch a lot of fish. one thing i can say is if there are large pike you are unlikely to catch any bass in the area
  5. drink a lot of water, throw your buff in the water & put it back on, put some ice down your shorts. do whatever it takes
  6. skipping docks i use an arky head jig and a craw trailer or a booyah swim jig or a keitech swimjig with a paddle tail
  7. if it were me i would take the seats out so quick
  8. i would say start with the 6" savage gear line through as bluebasser said don't worry a ton about colour i can garuntee there are no trout in lakes i fish and i caught a 5.06 on a 7" savage gear real trout earlier this year
  9. i am a big fan of the ima pinjack 200
  10. just mentally keep track of each trip it's only for fun anyway so no real worry if i don't know
  11. if you want to fish a spook i would say get the chuggin spook instead it would make a little more noise
  12. jig and daiwa
  13. green pumpkin and black/blue are the best
  14. 1. jig with craw trailer 2. frog 3. ribbon tail 4. squarebill 5. deep crank
  15. i would rather texas rig a brush hog if i'm using a rage craw it is on a jig
  16. if it's a friend that is using it for footage then i understand but someone just watching over you probably recording looking at the spots you're fishing i hate that idea
  17. frog i would go with a tat type r 8.1.1
  18. rage menace, keitech swing impact fat or swim senko
  19. i like my 6" slow sink i mainly fish it on points i fish it when the water is a little more dirty as well because the rattles in it help the fish find it i think
  20. made a breakthrough yesterday i went in to get one spool of braid and i only walked out with one spool of braid
  21. i throw them on a 7/8oz punching jig or just texas rig them with a 1/2oz or 3/4oz tungsten weight
  22. ok still confused as to what is going on i could not find a single large mouth this weekend. i found a couple smallies on a point and a ton of rock bass shallow. only thing they wanted to eat was a black and blue football. i have to guess they are in a back bay or just deeper though i hit my 2 best deep cranking spots and found nothing
  23. i've fished the real trout and i like them they have more kick than a hudd the tail also has a little hole which you can put a rattle in if you want to
  24. i always have a trailer on a chatterbait if i want more of a finesse presentation i will choose a trailer with very subtle action or use a swimjig
  25. in my short time throwing swimbaits i have discovered one thing. i always regret getting the smaller version i picked up 2 5" savage gear glide swimmers and i think i would be much better having the larger ones
