  1. i use the large flappin' hogs all the time for flipping and even as jig trailers at times
  2. if the ones they sell don't float and you lose them they will probably sell more
  3. i had moderate success with it this year as a flipping bait but i quickly went back to the sweet beaver, pit boss and flappin hogs

  6. i've had success on suspending mainly most of the bites coming in the high 50's and low 60's caught a couple 3 pounders the other day on a kvd deep then proceeded to lose it the next cast
  7. not a fan of braid for trebles i find it just throws me off all of my moderate action rods have fluro on them simply because the reels i have on them do not seem to like braid. it slips on the citica and i don't want to be slipping on my hooksets

  12. depends on what topwater frogs are a 6'6" mh/f spooks and others are on a 7'0" mh/mf
  13. i personally prefer daiwa over shimano i have a citica i as well as 3 tatulas 2 standard 100 7.3.1 and one type-r 8.1.1 i find that the citica just doesn't cast as well as i would like it to now it may be the rod that it's on but who knows

  16. i fish the same colour water and i do well on bluegill coloured baits, green pumpkin chatterbait being my biggest producer, i also do well on red craw lipless cranks

  19. been using strike king grey polarized this year and i really do like them, for $30 it's hard to go wrong

  22. what exactly do you mean by hard bodied swimbait? are you referring to a bait like the spro bbz-1 or something much smaller?

  24. just picked up some more plastics recently i've been losing so many ned heads in brush but they largemouth up at the lake seem to love them so i can't complain. also been going through beavers like mad i picked up some d bombs to try
  25. i have never used them but i don't think it really matters they will likely both catch fish. though i know that really doesn't answer your question.
