depends on what feels better in your hand i am personally a daiwa fan i find they are easier to work with than shimano but i do love my citica i would say go to your local shop hold both (if possible) and see which you think is more comfortable and fits your budget better
thursday i will be picking up a new spinning rod but i haven't been able to find out anything about it. it's a daiwa rx 701 it feels amazing in the hand the handle is similar to that of a steez and the new chronos but at a budget price point im interested to try it out i'll post pics when i get it
for as long as people fish i dont think they stop learning i am on my 3rd year as well and i am experiencing many firsts, i still haven't caught a fish on a deep crank, or a football jig
you're right that was stupid of me but you cant be surprised when the price goes up esspecially since you likely bought it on clearance the product isn't available anymore and no one sells them anywhere near that price so that should tell you something
they are the ones that came in this tackle bag
as far as the swimbait box goes i don't have a picture but i will take one when i get home. it was an old case from a poker set that i added foam to the bottom and top of the box this allows me to put my glidebaits and bull shads in and have them not move around they also have hook bonnets on them so they don't get hooked into the foam
got sick of tackle being unorganized in the boat so i grabbed a couple planos and a couple boxes to store everything. then i spent part of my night re organizing everything
personally i would think the tracker is better it's a newer boat, has almost the same thrust trolling motor, has newer fish finders (not like that's a determining factor) plus it has a gloomis sticker that should be good for like 10 more hp
okay so the season is close to opening up here and i am really looking at how i store things in my boat. i have a 14X36 V jon boat and currently i keep everything in my 2 duffle bags which consist of 10 regular 3700'S 2 deep 3700's and 1 regular 3600 and a few other bags of soft plastics and clam shells of swimbaits.
my question is how do you guys organize your tackle in a smaller boat i am exploring the idea of basically having a footlocker with all of my trays in it but i am still kind of lost as far as the soft plastics go
it cuts through waves better which is probably why you see them more there but think of it like standing on a mountain point verses standing on flat ground one you are trying to stabilize yourself on a much smaller point where the other has your weight distributed over a larger flat surface thus the reason a flat bottom jon boat doesnt tip like a v when you are near the side
