  1. Picked up some hedgehog parts for the tatula and t3 yesterday I think the colour conversion has begun
  2. probably just who i got, no big deal but whoever is getting my package didn't end up getting any jenko booty shakers like i planned
  3. i did they said there was no way around it, since it was a policy they had setup
  4. i tried that but they wouldn't let me since im in canada
  5. i would just get a regular tatula 100 i use one for big baits and heavy cover dont have any issues
  6. Shipped out
  7. i have thrown a 2 1/2oz baits on a rod rated for 1 1/2 oz it's possible to do but i really dont recommend it. also i would get the rat instead
  8. My water clarity is roughly the same. This past year i caught a fair amount in water up to 20' on jigs and deep crankbaits. Deeper than that i have not had much luck.
  9. never ice fished since my home lake is mainly bass though i could get into it. there are at least 4" of ice on my home lake already. i know there are a fair amount of perch in the lake that could be fairly active.
  10. not much anymore i used to be a decent counter strike player but kinda of fell out of it since i started playing baseball again
  11. perfect looks like im stocking up on football jigs for next season
  12. well since i didnt take advantage of the black friday sale this is definitely happening. mike does this include jigs that are in the sale section?
  13. Day 8 is also pretty sad, i know they are trying to clear out stock but come on guys
  14. i would wait i have a feeling dobyns will go on sale through tw, just because they want more of my money
  15. it does but 2 of the s cranks are 16.99 instead of 19.99 i haven't used the 3d but i do really like my composite rods that i have it really depends on the use though i find for lipless, squarebill and mid it's nice but for deep cranking graphite is a little better
  16. wow that really sucks personally i would be going with a dobyns if they go on sale or take advantage of the tw sale on powell rods
  17. care to explain?
  18. this is really when i wished the shipped internationally i could get a creed lte for $30 or a gt for $60 nope you just add the item to the cart and its applied
  19. No I agree with you on this one it's the reason I have switched all my straight shank flipping hooks from tk130 to owner jungle flipping hooks
  20. i would also go with shimano im a daiwa guy but i prefer my shimanos to my tournament mg
  21. what have you tinkered with so far? from what i have learned round bend are normally just better all around hooks, if a fish swipes at a bait they are unlikely to get the ewg because they are turned inwards. as far as snaps go i believe @Glenn uses them on his line and takes off split rings off the line tie (as per his video). so maybe he can talk about that a little more. i would be looking at line type and diameter. I am always trying to get more feel with crankbaits so im going to be throwing braid to leader next season probably 40lb 832 --> 14 lb mono. also what is your cranking setup and what depths are you using it for mainly?
  22. Day 6 is Trokar hooks, not a bad selection
  23. this is the kind of thing i expect to be done on black friday not as one of the 25 days
  24. i use braid backing on some reels, mainly the ones with fluro because i dont want to put a whole spool of fluro on. the brand doesn't matter, if i were to buy braid specifically for this is would likely be 30-40lb of whatever the cheapest braid was. i have never had a problem with braid slipping when used as backing. i have however had issues with straight braid slipping on some spools. what comes to mind is just grabbing a 1000 yard spool of kast king braid its like $30
  25. this is my thinking and someone please tell me if im wrong. the carp eat the grass which includes all the plankton in the grass, this slowly kills off the bluegill or baitfish population since they now have nothing to eat, this in turn kills off the bass because they now have less to eat
