  2. well that's pretty awesome congrats on that find
  3. i'm not fighting you on the length because there are days i frog on my 6'6", but why an avid? you dont need the most sensitive rod for topwater so why not get something a little more budget friendly
  4. i would take a look at the shimano exage 6'10" M/F it should fit the bill and it's only $99
  5. yep just had to preform a slight modification to those so they didn't take on water
  6. i have a tourney mg and love that, i would think the bb1 is a little smoother. but no i haven't used one
  7. yesterday seemed to be a ton of silent 5 squarebills with a lot of bluegill, baby bass and red craw. i think i found the only sexy shad ones in that bin
  8. renegades are fairly cheap as well as some of the strike king. the issue with these will always be clarity of the lens, which normally is what you are paying for with more expensive brands
  9. personally i love my abu garica rods for cranking. i have 2 abu garcia ike delay rods one 7'3" the other 7'10". as well as a 7'11" abu garvia veritas winch. personally i like the veritas the best a graphite rod can tell you exactly what the bottom is like. i would recommend at least a 7'6" for cranks if you are going to be trying to get to 20' they're 125 on ebay
  10. i can't say im mad at it but i feel like they keep finding them in the back and load up the bin again randomly
  11. got a few storm arashi squrebills on clearance yesterday for 2.99 each, as well as 2 savage gear 3d trout and 2 3/4oz kvd spinnerbaits in white and sexy shad
  12. awesome make sure you show us how it turned out
  13. it is the shimano boxes that come in this tackle bag they are a 3700 size they look something like this
  14. my favourites are xcalibur xrk75 (if you can find them) strike king res 1/2oz rapala clacklin rap
  15. i was looking at these as well a local place has them for $17 cad right now
  16. 4/0 mustad grip pin ewg or a 5/0 straight sank flipping hook
  17. no i havent either
  18. this wouldnt be a shameless self plug would it? also i would go with rust craw or native craw
  19. that's really cool mike how who are these colours based off of?
  20. fairly sure there were some at a store up here maybe they can order it from the ontario store and ship it mi
  21. i have been diagnosed as well my diet has changed to mainly chicken and salmon with red meat once a week and have had no issues so far, the biggest thing as i have been told it to stay hydrated. i have cut every drink except water and one coffee a day, this has helped immensely. give that a try before cutting meat out completely because that can have a negative effect on your body, including lower iron (resulting in less energy) and a less protein which can cause some problems
  22. I would go perch, loon and bone or perch, loon, orange crush
  23. i'd go bone, im surprised you didnt get perch instead of orange crush though being in Vermont
  24. th marine makes some conservation ones that are basically locking lip grips http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/T-H_Marine_G-Force_Conservation_Cull_System/descpage-CONCUL.html
