  1. I think the Diawa Fuego is essentially a regular tatula without the tws (couple more bearings)
  2. What curtis9 said. I bought mine for $19 bucks on clearance. Impossible to beat at that price IMO. You might check Wal Mart. there's a thread running here that they have a lot of rods on clearance as well.
  3. My firearm goes everywhere I go, within the law.
  4. I've been using the steel sinkers for a while now. They're bigger, but I use them in situations where size isn't critical.
  5. An FG knot has never failed me.
  6. Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks for the clarification.
  7. If you're asking to change Kyleunderwood to something else then I've never been able to do that on any forum without an admin. changing it, and even then some forums frown upon it.
  8. My biggest problem is not having the fish bite the lure I want them to
  9. I think he's getting plenty of people giving their opinion on the two reels he mentioned. I don't consider it a bad thing to suggest that there are better reels for slightly more money. It's possible the OP didn't know he could get a Fuego for $80. I know I appreciate it when people suggest something that I may not have considered.
  10. Personally, I would throw the Hud first, but I wouldn't be skeered to throw every bait you mentioned
  11. If you're willing to spend $60, save $20 more and buy a Diawa Fuego off of the Bay, or $40 and get a Diawa Tatula CT. Both are far better reels than what you're considering IMO.
  12. For those of you that are fishing with single hooks like that, Are you seeing any difference in how weedless the baits are? Meaning, are they more, less, or about the same when it comes to getting hung up on wood, etc.?
  13. where do you usually go?
  14. Sounds like you made up your mind, Enjoy it!
  15. I think you'd be happy with the CT and the extra money for other stuff.
  16. Fair enough. How much do you like the Curado? Answering that question will determine if you will miss it or not.
  17. I don't think the Curado 70 is $80 better than the CT. If money is tight, going with the best value is a fine option.
  18. That thing between your ears - Gerald Swindle
  19. I do it all the time with weightless baits from the bank.
  20. I'm going to concentrate more on crank baits, plus delve into bigger swim baits and glide baits.
  21. Buzz bait, any color. Whopper plopper, any color.
  22. I haven't read the responses in this thread, but I would like to throw Diawa and Shimano into the mix
  23. I use an FG knot. Generally speaking, it think it's the thinnest knot possible. Let me know if you find something that works.
  24. On things like jigs, top water walking treble baits, square bills etc. yes, unless I need a longer leader to reach a different depth. I thought the T wing would help but i've heard more than one person say knots catch worse on the T wing than a regular hole, which seemed odd to me too.
  25. Nice football....I mean fish!!!!
