My grandkids call me papa and my daughters call me dude.

I'm planning on heading down to Lake Fork next month myself. Thought about Table Rock but the Boss Lady said we should go to Texas before we get old. Dang I'm 71 now I don't know what her idea of old is but I like the idea of Lake Fork. We've talked about going for a couple of years so I think it's time.

How are you Iowa folks doing bass fishin this year? The Boss Lady and I have been out a couple of times and caught several, no hogs yet biggest were a couple of 18" and a lot of 14" to 16". Caught most on crankbaits. Rain the next couple days my keep us home but we'll be back at it when it stops.

I'm retired and we fish 4 or 5 days a week and my best fishing partner is the Boss Lady. Very seldom go without her. She has become as good a bass fisherperson as I have ever fished with. You guys that leave your wife home are missing some quality time with them. free upload

I'm retired and will turn 70 in a couple of months. 30 years ago I started thinking about retirement and bought 160 acres of timber in southern Iowa and built two ponds on it. Now all I have to do is deer hunt and bass fish. The Boss Lady and I also own a bass boat and we have been going out 4 or 5 afternoons a week, She is a bass fishing nut and the best fishing partner I have ever had. here is our little piece of heaven. free image uploading

The boss lady and I sold our Tracker V17 and bought this used Champion this past spring and so far we are very happy with it. Just right for a couple old retired people. imagur

I took the Boss Lady fishin again tonight, We didn't catch any hogs but we managed to catch 45 bass in 3 hours. That's a bass every 4 minutes. Most were the size of those in the pictures. We were fishing a little 12 acre county lake near our home. Had a great time and she is the best fishin partner I've ever had. img host upload an image upload gambar upload photos

The 21" was paper thin. I would like to catch it again next spring, it should have weighed at least 5 and that's the problem with using accurate scales, they never weigh what you think they should

I took the Boss Lady fishin again today and she had a pretty good day. I had a 4 lb+ walleye on and got it up next to the boat and she knocked it off with the net, then said OOPs. Oops my butt. At least I have something to hold over her head the rest of the summer. i3ig Nasty; Although I only live a few miles from 3 and 12 mile I rarely fish them. They have so many tournaments on them It makes them both tough to fish. I fish a lot of the smaller 10 to 40 acre lakes and do quite well on them. Get a Sportsman Iowa Fishing Map guide at Walmart and check out the lakes in your area. People are missing out on some great bass fishing by not using these smaller lakes. Here are tonights results for us.
