  2. That's a trap bass baits duck, I've seen him in Instagram and his lures look great
  3. Yep I have one and it's great
  4. Anyone heard about the Jackall Chibitarel? Just saw it on Instagram and looks just like a smaller gantarel. I'm pretty sure they are just in Japan now but if anyone knows if or when they come to the U.S. I'd like to know
  5. Would 25# fluoro stand up to a northern pike's teeth? That is one of my main concerns
  6. Thanks for the feedback guys really appreciate it
  7. That's what I was thinking of getting. Do you know if most sporting goods stores have that?
  8. Is that p-line copolymer? I've heard that p line cxx is really good too
  9. Another swimbait topic. Sorry guys I'm new to Swimbaits and realized that I have a lot more questions. Read some articles saying that you should use like 25# fluorocarbon or mono. I have 30# braid but it said that would snap really easily? Need some help here guys
  10. I had some of the 4" Senkos and caught tons of bass and even a crappie. I love them but I haven't bought another pack just because they do not last
  11. Im really new to Swimbaits so how should I set my drag if I'm using braid?
  12. Haha now I do, just read an article about it.
  13. I do have one of my dads musky rods. It is a team diawa rated up to 3 oz and is 7'3"
  14. Do you think a Hudd 68 would be ok for it?
  15. Not sure if you'll have any luck finding a lodge on a smaller lake. Most in MN are on pretty big, popular lakes. If your willing to camp for a few nights, the Bouandary waters presents a nice area for smallmouth and walleye.
  16. I was out with my friends today in a creek catching crayfish under rocks. I noticed that they were all a dark brown with just a little bit of orange in the claws. That got me thinking. What times of the year should I throw different colored craw lures? If anyone knows anything about craw colors I'd be happy to hear.
  17. Mister twister chartreuse grub... The fish may have been only 10" but it's still a fish

  20. I'm just getting into fishing Swimbaits. After seeing what they can do I couldn't resist. My only problem is my rod. I know most people use a long, heavy action rod but I think mine would work alright. I've got an Abu Garcia Ambassadeur combo. The rod is a 6'6" MH, pretty stout all the way up. I would like to get a new one but that won't be happening for a while. So I just want to know if you guys think it will do the job for some smaller (nothing over 6") Swimbaits.
  21. Northland still makes the slurries one but with a different name. It is called the brush beaver. It works great
  22. Southern trout eaters is supposed to be pretty good. It's mostly about how to fish swimbaits but it also documents lure makers, big fish and just a lot of cool stuff.
