    there’s an on-going sentiment among my family and friends that that is how they’ll find me one day. i’m 62 now and fish alone much of the time. i ain’t close to slowing down either.

    i caught it a couple weeks before Christmas. then my wife got it. it didn’t hit us that hard, but it seems to have a mind of it’s own and affects some people differently than others.

    if you set the hook like me..... using anything less than 15# fluoro is asking for hook set heartbreak. i’ve tried different knots, different brands, and even holding my mouth right.

    we caught 8 bass, nothing over 3 lbs.

    i’ve caught bass on one lake that fought differently than bass on another lake 30 minutes away. and a 2 lb spot can feel like you’re trying to reel in a 5 gallon bucket of water.
