This is my thought, if I'm afraid I might lose a lure I would rather be out $3-4 then $15+.That said I've not lost a lure since I started using a lure retriever
I've been using the Cajun red mono lately, over all I cannot really say anything against it, I can cast a mile with it and the line has nonexistent memory which is amazing for how cheap a spool of line is.
The only reason I would switch to something else would be to try something new.
