  1. Skyline Chili. My mother and father grew up in the Cinci. area, so I sort of grew up on this stuff. Now I can't go a week without it. My others would have to be donuts and coffee (Starbucks).
  2. So you're the one who out bid me...... Thanks Maybe I will have better luck next time.
  3. Sounds like a good deal to me. Lets just say you broke your laptop. Is Dell, Mac or whomever going to send you a new and better model for $100. No way......... If you got the cash go for the LT.
  4. I used XL for many years. I have since moved on to use Yozuri Hybrid, P-Line and Berkley Trilene Fluorocarbon. XL is sort the standard in line. There are better lines but XL might be the number one selling mono line out there.
  5. I have tried some of the Gulp products but have had little success. I do like some of Berkley's Powerbaits though. I am a bigger fan of Yum. I like their lizards and the especially the Yum Dinger.
  6. 8lb Trilene Professional Grade Fluorocarbon is the only one I have tried that has worked well right out of the box.
  7. I hate cable with a passion... We have Comcast here in Indianapolis. Here is my story from years ago........ I was working nights and I get this knock on door while I was asleep. There stands a guy from Comcast telling me they're here to install my new digital cable. I told him that I did not want it. He said that they were just installing the cable and it was for everyone in my neighboorhood. He said that I had signed for them to do the work. He then showed me my forged signature, a long with all my neighboors. I called Comcast and I was told that they had a legal right to be there and the work would continue. I then called the Police (they never showed). While I was waiting I fell back asleep. When I woke, Comcast had used a backhow to destroy my yard so they could put the cable in the ground. They didn't fill the 3 foot deep trench in my yard. They also destroyed my neighboors privacy fence. Then they left a notice on my door step that the work was complete, enjoy your new cable. My neighboor ended up sueing them and won. It took over a year for them to come out and fill the trench and fix her fence. The bad part was that I was forced to use their new cable system. It started out at $34.99 for basic service but doubled in price 6 months later with out notice. We later had some trees cut back so we could have a satalite dish installed. On a side note, when I went to return the Digital cable box to Comcast, they wanted to charge me $400 for the box because I had broken it (I never used it). I refused to pay and wanted to see a manager. As I was waiting, I noticed that they told everyone in line the same thing. Everybody owed them $400. Luckilly I had the paper work from my neighboors law suit. I showed it to the manager and I asked if I should try and sue them again. I walked out mad but I didn't have to pay the $400. I will never use cable.
  8. I have only been to one slaughter house and that was uncle's barn on his farm. To me it is just a fact of life. These animals are a food product. Yes they live and breath but they are here to fead us.
  9. I had a serious issues with going to this place when I was asked by a couple of friends but my wife insistead that we go. I knew the check for the two of us would push about $200; appetizer, steak, salad, desert, and wine. Lets just say, after eating there that I apologized to my wife. It was the best steak I had ever had. They also had absolutely fantastic service. I don't think it's the kind of place that I would visit often but it was simply the best. Thanks for the coupon.......
  10. The Lucky Craft Sammy in Aurora Black is my favorite.
  11. Maybe your boss needs to pull out the Mastercard and upgrade instead. I work with a Mac and a PC all day on a shared network and nothing is more frustrating than having a server down. I feel your pain.
  12. I worked at video store when I was 15. The kind that carried more Beta and laser discs than VHS and actually charged a $300 membership fee. It was fun but during the summer I worked at a Flower and Patio Nursery. I gained about 20lbs of muscle there. I usually spent 3 hours a day unloading 100lb bags of top soil and fertilizer. Eventually the 20lb and 40lb bags seemed light as feathers. I tried a local golf course for about a week and told the owner to stick it. I hated getting up at 3:00am.
  13. I have a couple. I'll even share one. It's in Green/Sullivan Forest in Indiana. It is one of over 120 strip pits. With in 2 miles of it, I can fish for Walleye, Salmon, and Pike. Each are stocked in their own individual pond. I usually catch alot of 5lb+ LM Bass on this pond. The thing is I need about 3 hours of hiking to get to it and my buddies GPS to find it. Good luck.
  14. I have to go with The Bass Pros. And the one of the worst, which I watched today, is Roland Martin. He use to be OK to watch but over the years he has started to remind of the INFOMERCIAL guy, Billy Mays (I think that's his name). Nothing but product plugging and less about fishing.
  15. Cavitron followed by Booyah.
  16. 15lb has been a good average for me. I use 17lb for big heavy stuff and 12lb for small cranks.
  17. Where did you get the coupon? Sounds like an awesome deal.
  18. I've never used any lures from this company but they have some cool but odd stuff. http://www.tsunekichi-inc.com/brand/index.html
  19. Here you go http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1170467828/1#1
  20. A Shimano Calais 201a and a G. Loomis MBR783 GLX.
  21. I purchased a couple of baitcasting reels at BPS last year and they spooled both with Excel. One with 10lb and the other with 15lb (I think). The sales guy told me their line was exactly the same as Shakespears mono. After fishing both reels for a day I took both of the lines off and respooled with P-Line Fluorloclear 15lb. I would not recommend Excel. It just was bad stuff. Maybe I got some old line but I have tried their XPS series and I liked it. Not the greatest but good line.
  22. A local pond I go to had a drunken driver, drive straight into into it at about 50mph. When the police arived hours later to find the guy past out on the bank, they asked where his car was and he said as they put him in handcuffs, "It's in the water. You dumb @$$." We then watched search and rescue show up with a big tow truck and pull 5 cars out of the water. None of which was the druken drivers. Finally after dragging the bottom they found his car. I have lived by this pond for years and the cars that were pulled out were as old as 1950's to current. I have yet to here anything else about it but attached to those cars were enough lures to fill a BPS.
  23. I am not too superstious but when I find a lost lure I through it away. Somethings that are lost are not ment to found. It's sort of like picking up someone else's bad luck. :-/
  24. My PB was on a 3/4 oz Lipless Crank 3 years ago and my second was on a old Culprit worm. I have yet to hit anything on these new swimbaits but years ago I use to use a monster size silver jointed Rapala. It reminds me of the new baits but back then everybody thought I was crazy to fish it.
  25. The Premier has 5 HPCR Bearings+1 Roller Bearing and the STX has 10 Stainless Steel+1 Roller Bearing.
