  5. Side by side comparison to the live target ... they feel identical... and both have sticky sharp hooks. I really think it's the same product different label 1/2 the price tag.?
  6. Walking around my local dicks and saw these live target knockoffs. They seem nice, said ring hook the plastic collapses nicely. At 4.99 and sure to go on sale being the dick brand they are pretty cool. Won't be able to test it out for a few more months up north anyone tried them out?
  7. Welcome to bass resource. Awesome story. I'm also from NH .... just remember you can get out on most lakes fishihing for bass in New Hampshire anytime. The April date is for trout. I'll be out in my yak on pleasant lake as soon as ice out happens
  8. Dicks seams to have megabass on sale got this guy for 13.97. Vision 110's were at 18.97. I'll be going back on payday to get a few
  9. I caught a ton of fish on that same rat last year it was killer... then it landed in a tree.. I went back after work that night and could see where someone had cut the branch down... rat gone. So I had to pick up another
  10. Got it fixed by my local repair guy today.. cost me 25$ and he Did a full service on it... easily the best 30$ I've ever spent for a reel.
  11. Picked up a few odds and ends ..going to start throwing some more swimbaits this year after having such luck on the rat last year.
  12. That's awesome thank you. I will let you know.... another reason this is one of the best sites for fishing on the web. So much knowledge and super helpful mods and advtersiers

  17. Dishwashers are tuff on knives it's the quickest way to dull them
  18. I have tried prescription costa, Oakley, Wiley x and maui jims . for me the maui jims are the best rx polarized glasses you can get. the hcl bronze lens is outstanding. and they are super comfortable.
  19. The custom lite is supposed to have standard guides.
  20. No one else I have seen at such a low price point.
  21. I did notice that the white rod is im-8 and the new rod is im-6. I was curious on that myself. maybe they had to go with a bit cheaper blank for the more high end components? its deff the only rod on the market with winn grips and microwave guides for under 80$
  22. I have not fished with winn grips but all I here is good things. I also have the mach 1 combo I got it for under 90$ after coupons at dicks, and its a great combo even for the full retail price. I think the reel is worth the 100$ all day, so the rod is about free.
  23. -IM6 Blank with Carbon Nano Tube construction -Lew’s SoftTouch Skeletal reel seats -American Tackle “AIRWAVE” guide system -WINN Inc. Dri-TEC, advanced polymer grips -Lew’s built in trigger hook keepers
  24. This is very exciting news where I live in New Hampshire are lead ban is very tuff. Chatterbox actually don't have to be tungsten, for now that is. They are classified as spinnerbaits. But we can't use and lead jigs under 1 oz regardless of length. I also would like to see a tungsten style Ned jig head, and tungsten tube weights.
