Bought a HDS 7 gen 2 touch a week ago and mounted it on the front of my boat.
Put the transducer on the trolling motor.
Bought a HDS 7 Gen 3 touch yesterday and in process of mounting it on my 1996 Gambler 201 GE bass boat.
On the transducer would you mount it on the back of the boat ? Or shoot it threw the hull ?
Does this unit loose the bottom easily when you get on plane ?
And the Structure transducer. I'm really having a hard time trying to figure out where to put it.
The setback on my boat underneath it is concave so you can't mount the Structure transducer flat on the setback of the transom.
