  3. I was rummaging through my pops wine bottle cork collection and came across a few champagne corks. Instantly an idea struck! Drilled some holes to size and bam! Light weight, big, comfortable cork reel grips man! What ya think?
  4. Started on spinning. Watched bassresource how to videos. Got me a baitcaster. Fell in love. Still use skinning but very rarely. 2 spinning outfits (1bass & 1panfish) and 6 casting outfits (crankin, jig, jerk, plastics, topwater, spinnerbait)
  5. That's great. Definite need. What rid what reel what line! ?
  6. Idk guys, I just have an attachment to the bass. I'm not a hunter, I feel bad even hooking them sometimes... but that just me, I'm a softie!

  12. That's what I'm sayin too. Gross! In the wise words of Bruce the shark "fish are friends, not food" ... well. . Some fish
  13. Come on! 7lbs?? Not cool :/
  14. Another vote for Spro Bronzeye love that thing
  15. If you want to stick with the vengeance or even better, the vendetta, go with a 1 piece. Especially at length 6'6ft. isn't too long so storage is pretty easy. 1 piece gives you more strength and sensitivity.
  16. So I was doin some fishing yesterday at a small private lake. The lake is surrounded by houses, 1 of them my familys, and only has 1 small public access spot from the bank. My father-in-law told me that 2 days ago 2 guys were fishin from that spot and catching some nice bass. Problem is.. they weren't throwing them back! He said they were some decent sized fish too. So some of the neighbors went over there to tell these guys it's catch and release only. The 2 guys said "oh okay, yeah we're gonna let em go".. as the fish were Floppin around in their coolers. After that, the neighbors were watching them and again, hooked a bass and threw it in the cooler! So the neighbors ran down there and the 2 guys took off! 1 neighbor got the vehicle info, so hopefully these guys get caught. I can't staND people like this! People pay to stock that pond and treat the water etc. Just makes me mad!
  17. No doubt. Just caught this sucker today! And AGAIN... didn't have my scale lol sorry. Definitely at LEAST 3lbs. Biggest in size from the last 2 I posted. This was the biggun. Good fight!
  18. Exactly, that's why I got that chartruse frog so I can see it when fishin heavy pads and such
  19. Lol true. I only got the black with yellow for the black bottom on certain days
  20. Take pictures of the sunrise/sunset and post to instagram lol. Nah, I would usually try different lures, usually smaller size. Go to different areas, try deeper water. If all else fails.. get out the ultra lite and go for panfish!
  21. I was Thinkin of doin just 1 jawbone and leaving the other plain white. I probably will, and I'll just copy the patter from the spro. I will test and deliver results!
  22. Went to my local DSG and saw they were selling any sized booyah frogs for $4 and any Jawbone frog for $2. I got the booyah pad crasher in black and yellow for the black belly. but the Jawbones have plain white bottoms.. id like to sharpie on some patterns like my spro has on the bottom. Does anyone else do this? Won't the spots on the bottom help catch fish? Thanks (From left to right: booyah black, spro natural green, jawbone chartruse [top right], Jawbone green [bottom right] )
  23. i figured they were best in cooler times of the year like fall for feeding, as well as windy days keepin them near the banks. i tried spinnerbaits in the summer and havent produced yet. but thanks for the tip! i will give it a go next time i go out
  24. As far as older reels go for baitcasters, i came across a couple old bantam citicas.. very smooth. I like the older reels. Thinkin about gettin one for a swim bait outfit. As far a pflueger baitcasters, I'd like to try the supreme
