  1. Headed to the Cape for the weekend hitting the Canal for some of the striped variety in the AM then hitting a few local ponds for some Monstah LM with my daughter. Hope I got some pictures to post up here for you guys. Happy 4th to everyone. Stay safe and tight lines!
  2. The Holy Grail of fishing! But I already have one. Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time-a!
  3. Suffix 832
  4. If I need to add weight to a wacky rig I use some solder cut into small pieces and inserted in the middle of the bait then run my hook under it.
  5. I hook through everything. I have used standard size electrical tape also.
  6. Here are a few things that I do when I fish "senkos". Stop at the local Home Depot and grab some of the skinny electrical tape in multiple colors and use a few wraps around the senko put your hook through the tape. It works like the O ring to not ruin the worm but you can add color to your bait. Sometimes I don't put the hook through the middle of the senko I will hook it 1/3 of the way down it changes the presentation quite a bit. I also carry a lighter with me. When the bait rips heat it up and put it back together. Found it works better than glue.
  7. Hey all you MA guys new to the site. Live in Worcester. Love fishing new places and fishing with new people. Met a lot of great guys on iceshanty.com and myfishfinder.com. Hope I can get to meet some of you.
  8. Don't know how that happened. How do I remove a post?
  9. Webster lake is great fishing. Has some awesome smallies in it. You need a boat to fish it tho.
  10. When the water is frozen 20+" I am not the guy to drill a thousand holes so I can jig with a lure so.... I drill 5 and use shiners on my tip-ups. If I lived somewhere where the water doesn't freeze maybe I could use a hard lure and share what I used. Just sayin
  11. One thing to remember when top water fishin is to count to 3 before you set the hook. If they are missing your lure completely try slowing your retrieve.
  12. If you could only have ONE lure what would you pick. I'll even give you season. No soft plastics it has to be hard. Winter. A shiner and my trusty Indian Hill tip-ups. Spring. Spinner bait with a big willow blade Summer. Split back jitterbugs in black Fall. Suspending jerk bait minnow colored
  13. The other thing that you could do us get a big dog. That's my alarm system. Part German shepherd part Anatolian shepherd. Back is at 36" and he weighs 90lbs. GL getting in my house.
  14. I like cameras and he doesn't need to put in a million of them. A camera pointing at a doorway or main travel way would hopefully give you a picture of the person(s) who broke into your house. Makes looking for someone easier than no picture at all. One door in the garage than a camera INSIDE covering the door and some of the garage. 2 doors in your house than 2 cameras INSIDE pointing at the doors. A thief isn't going to carry your stuff out a window. Maybe a small motion sensor style camera above the door so you can see who is walking out.
