  1. Maybe take a look at the bass pro extreme. Star drag and offset thumb bar make it comfortable for smaller hands.Not to expensive.
  2. I see lots of threads on casting distance, not too many on accuracy.
  3. Siebert's bloody shad swim jig.
  4. I like the northland reed runner 1/2 oz., they are almost indestructible. The mann's classic gives alot of vibration. Both are closed loop, never had one break.
  5. I fished vanish 4# for years on my trout setup never a problem.
  6. I have a couple of the mb's they work well and are comfortable, no complaints.
  7. The LR Shock makes a decent rod for frogs 6.6 or 7.0 mh with braid . can't beat it for 50 bucks. The LR 6.6 mh makes a good spinner bait rod.I use it alot no complaints.
  8. Lots of folks saying quality. For me it starts with engineering. Tight tolerances are key,along with the quality of components. Holding these tolerances during manufacturing is known as workmanship. That is what separates you from the pack.jmho

  19. You can get the Fuego on the bay for 75 bucks shipped. I purchased one about 4 months ago and it is worth twice that. Well made, bearings in all the right places(12),air rotation and carbon drag ect.Great reel.

  23. Maybe keep it basic,due to time constraints. Show them a t-rigged worm. Teach them to have some fun. Answer some questions ect. Your a good man for donating your time. As far as a print out, how to clear a backlash,lol.
  24. I picked a fuego on the bay for 75 bucks built well,tight tolerances and 12 bearings in the right places.Use it on my jig rod,I'm happy with it.
