  1. Is there anyway you could direct message me it? Also if you're talking about the DH3000z thats not what I'm looking for, that is the newer version. If you could DM me a link to the DH3000 that would be very much appreciated! Will do, thanks
  2. I've been looking to find this reel for a while now with no success, does anyone know where I can buy one, I've looked on both EBay and Amazon and cannot find them. Any help appreciated
  3. Hey guys, me and a buddy have located an area in a canal where there are a bunch of clownknives, some big some small. We have only hooked two in about five days of fishing, one broke my buddy off and the other shook my lure free. We see them rolling everywhere, and they even come all the way out of the water to roll. These past few days, we haven't hooked up with one. We might be bringing live bait soon, but I was wondering if anyone knew any good artificials or tactics that we might be throwing/doing wrong. We mainly have been throwing small 2-inch swimbaits and shad-shaped jerkbaits.
  4. Hey, I was wondering if fish such as largemouth bass and peacock bass will return to their beds after being caught, and how long it takes. I know from my experience that both species will generally swim off into the lake after being released on their beds, and obviously they would return because of natural instinct, but how long until then?
  5. Anyone have any favorite boot tail swimbaits that they would recommend to pair up with a swimjig?
  6. Very late, but that is one sexy bait! Looks like it'll slay
  7. Hi guys, I'm going fishing in lake Osborne tomorrow for peacocks, clown featherbacks, and whatever else bites, we are going to be using shiners & artificial, and I will probably using jerkbaits but wanted to know if yo guys had any good recommendations for lures to use! Thanks!!
  8. I'm extremely bad at knot tying. I only know one knot that my father taught me which works in some scenarios but is not a good knot all around. It's basically a multiple repeated overhand knot. I want to learn how to tie the uni knot and I watch the tutorials and stuff but for some reason I still fail to be able to do it... Any help appreciated
  9. Not trying to be a spot-stealer or beg for spots, but does anyone know any places to fish for freshwater snook and tarpon? Or at least any places I can start looking at, located in or around the West Palm Beach area? Thanks
  10. Senk-o. You can never go wrong
  11. For my birthday I'm getting a Stradic FK 3000 For peacock, largemouth, and snook. I was wondering what you guys believed would be the best rod to pair with it. Thanks!
  12. Yes, hybrid. I don't think its illegal but I'll have to double check, thank you!
  13. One of my friends who lives across the lake from me bought 5 dozen shiners. We fished with them the whole day, I caught a decent 4.3 pounder, and my other friend caught a smaller bass which we didnt measure. So, we only used about 2 dozen, and by afternoon time, it began to pour (nowhere else but Florida). So we decided to release the 3 dozen that we didnt use, as the bait and tackle store gave him an extra free 2 dozen because of too many shiners in stock. So we released them in hopes that they would populate, but I am starting to doubt this was the best way to introduce them as the bass and catfish might kill them off before they have a chance to spawn, any help on the best way to introduce them? Thanks!
  14. It is legal, but I'm not sure how to locate them so I can't tell you if they're in my lake but thanks for replying!
  15. I would like to start catching wild golden shiners for bait because I hear they produce huge bass. Currently my friends and I use small bluegill that we catch on bread and with nets. I understand catching shiners is practically the same method used to catch bluegill,(I don't even know if I have shiners in my lake)but I was wondering if there was a way to only catch shiners Thanks!
  16. What is your favorite top water lure? (who makes it, price, where you bought, color?) Heddon One-Knocker What do you throw when there is duckweed or lily's on top? Koppers LiveTarget Are there any top water lures you've tried that you do NOT suggest? Nope
  17. I believe it was a black and blue push button rod and reel lol
  18. I'm more of a spinner-reel kind of guy, but one of my friends swears by baitcasting. I was wondering if any of you could provide me the advantages of a baitcaster over a spinner. Thanks!
  19. I went today and slayed on the Strike King Structure Bug
  20. I had a pair of Arnettes that served me very well. I just recently bought a pair of Oakleys for 200 (so overpriced) and the Oakleys not only look cooler, but I feel the tint made it easier to see in the water and just in general. But Arnette is a good company and I bought mine for 50 from there so I reccomend you use them
  21. Haha, so this is the post! I google searched the lure because I had no idea what it looked like and I need a spinnerbait trailer so it actually looks like a good trailer! Thank you
  22. Yes, I agree I have been blowing it up on frogs!
  23. it's on a private boat. That's a really impressive fish, I'd love to see pictures if you have any, I look forward to battling these fish as I hear they have an insane amount of fight and battle in them. Thank you very much
