  1. Resurrecting an old thread. I call them horses sometimes
  2. Thanks guys... Yes, J Francho is correct. And we begin airing on Discovery Channel in July Sunday mornings.... we never aired on Outdoor Channel. We were on Sportsman Channel from 2004-2008 and have been on WFN ever since. Also we aired on NBC Sports for 5 years or so before moving to CBS Sports. You should be able to find the show somewhere on your TV dial every week and if you can't, we offer previous seasons to watch online for free on YouTube, Vimeo and Lunkerville.com.
  3. Hey guys. I know I haven't been around much lately. It's been all Lunkerville, all the time. I'm not even recreational fishing much these days because I have no time. I'm posting now because we're up for 2 Outdoor Sportsman Awards: Favorite Fishing Show and Favorite Host. If you watch South Bend's Lunkerville and enjoy it, please vote. And thank you very much. I hope not to be a stranger here anymore. VOTE HERE>>>>>> http://www.outdoorchannel.com/vote
  4. I'e fished Candlewood many times with varied success... I advise going with anyone named Tomasini or Baksay... lol
  5. I knew "The Gambler" was a good nickname for you Andrew!... you know when to hold em and know when to fold em.... oh wait, check that....you were doing all the holding, I was doing all the folding.
  6. Bassresource.com is absolutely the #1 bass fishing website on the internet. I've been a fan for the 12+ years we've been doing the show and even before that!....and I'm constantly directing folks who want to learn and discuss fishing to Glenn's site. What I love about BR is that it's for all skill levels of fisherpeople. We've featured a bunch of BR members on the show and will continue to do so! And yes, I will be attending a BR event one of these days and recording the camaraderie of all the fine folks for the world to see! Thank you Glenn for your support
  7. i'm in therapy now to deal with my senko addiction... my therapist says i can still use them in small doses, but i must try harder to listen to my guests.
  8. Hey guys. Thanks for the kind words about my show. The new season just launched and we have 13 new episodes this year featuring everyday folks who love to fish. It's our 12th year of broadcast and we're not going anywhere. We've had a bunch of BR members on the show, including Glenn (aka Clark Kent) and will feature more in the future, for sure... We air on NBC Sports at 3:30pm EST on Thursdays, on WFN 6 times per week and on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, Philidelphia and California...and on Time Warner Sports in North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas... and you can watch full episodes of previous season's shows at Lunkerville.com. I love Bass Resource... Glenn has done an amazing job embracing all that's important about bass fishing... what's so cool is that this site and forum is for everyone... and no matter what your skill level, you can come here and be welcomed and gain knowledge. I don't post much here because of all my social media responsibilities, but I'll try to check in more often. Thanks Glenn for what you do!... and congrats on the Seahawks win(barely...yeow)
  9. you're killing me man... bring it on... i can't be more depressed about my skins then i already am... it's a nightmare! CRAP!!!!
  10. Thanks folks... sorry JT, i must have missed your post. Jimmy is truly a fascinating, funny and super nice guy. I really enjoyed chatting with him. The interview was actually about 30 minutes long (which is an eternity at ICAST), but i edited it down to the best 11 minutes. And I'm working on getting Jimmy to make a guest appearance on the show. Hopefully I can make it happen for the upcoming season premiering in the fall!
  11. I had the pleasure of interviewing fishing legend Jimmy Houston at ICAST this year and thought I would share the chat with the folks at BR. He talks about his underwear, Rogaine and dishes some spice on Roland and Bill D. Check it out: I ran in to Glenn a few times also; man that guy works hard! It was a terrific ICAST overall. South Bend's Lunkerville was renewed for another season on NBC Sports and WFN and we met lots of nice folks out there and even chose a couple guests for the show. And speaking of the show, we're always looking for new "real people with real fish stories" guests, so join our Facebook page and post a video of you catching a fish or telling a fishing tip! https://www.facebook.com/lunkerville And thank you everyone for your support! Mike D
  12. yeah, next time you see me giving a seminar at a sports show, wear protective gear and stay alert
  13. this is true....lol... i'm the unexpected fishing pro... woohoo!!!... i fish for a living!!! (ask glenn for tips tho)
  14. thanks for watching the show guys... and for the kind words... i really appreciate it. i was hoping to make the road trip this year, but again work got in the way.... next year i'm coming!! we started shooting our new season recently, so look for all new episodes this fall on WFN, NBCSN, PBS and Lunkerville.com. and check out Lunkerville Late Night, our new webisode series at Lunkerville.com and YouTube... also "Lunkerville Classic" is currently airing on WFN... these are shows from 10 years ago. ok, that's the end of my self-serving plug... fish on!
