  1. I leave my rods in my rod locker locked up, my boat is covered with a boat cover and is under a car port and does not see sun very much. I have checked the temperature inside using a temperature gauge and it was 90 during mid day....my zman baits have not melted so thats a good thing LOL.
  2. This is my go to jig for today at least, 90% of my bass fishing is for smallmouth so I like smaller jigs. This is the keitch tungsten football jig.
  3. How are you guys doing the wiring? I have a 2014 tracker 175 txw
  4. HDSI ordered.
  5. I think I will order a HDSI transducer soon. I should have listened and traded mine in, oh well I guess I will have a back up if needed. If I get images like this on my Helix 7 SI G2 it will be worth the upgrade.
  6. I just checked my boat to make sure I had the same transom mount for new HB 7SI G2 and its different, its a older model I believe. Its the MHX XNTF Transom Transducer Mounting Hardware. This one- http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/humminbird-mhx-xntf-transom-transducer-mounting-hardware?a=1149506 WIll the XNT 9 SI 180 T fit this mount? It looks like it only has two bolts holding it in, I wonder if the two of these would fit the slots in the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T mount and then I could just add one hole. Do you think the aerator screen will interfere with the left side imaging? Any help would be appreciated and thanks. Its on a tracker 175 txw
  7. This is a older pic, I had a ton of better pictures with baitballs almost the size of the helix screen but can't find them so this will have to do...
  8. 800 KHz will show better detail when closer to the shorelines. Less range and less coverage but better detail. The Humminbird I think I have is a 500 series, but has the same transducer mount screw holes as the newer helix series, not 100% sure about the G2 mounts though.
  9. Looking for a new one, I don't need maps or even GPS. Basically I've narrowed it down to 3 specific models. The Garmin striker 7sv, what I like about it is the chirp with down imaging and side imaging it also goes up to 800 KHz on the clear vu and down vu. The Humminbird Helix 7 Chirp SI GPS G2, I like everything about this except it does not have 800 KHz but it has a 455 kHz: 420-520 kHz. The 3rd is the Humminbird Helix 7 DI, it has a higher frequency (800 KHz) for its down imaging but it does not have side imaging....I kinda want side imaging. Right now I have a older Humminbird on my boat, so if I did go with Humminbird I would not need to drill new holes in my boat. Thoughts please.
  10. Thought I would add a few pics of some of my newest gear..
