I always go by diameter over pound ratings.
Check sufix for example...

I've used TCB8 quite a bit, the yellow is better then the green, it does not flake like the green does.
It would be my go to braid if they made yellow in 10lb
Its better then 832 IMO and its super strong...
I been using Vicious No-Fade braid and its excellent, 2 seasons using it now and it looks brand new.
My spinning rods have Hi-vis Fins 40g and I use a flourocarbon leader on those rods.
Why spend a $120 when you can buy a Ugly Stick?

I love my NRX and Megabass rods, they are simply amazing to fish with.
