  1. Dobyns are good but Kistler has them beat on sensitivity. I would choose the magnesium 3 with the Kistler sale.
  2. Try going off of diameter instead of pound rating, that is when you will find the differences between braids. For example, Seaguar smack down in 10lb is .005" diameter while sufix 832 in 10lb is .008" Sufix 10lb will actually brake around 30lb while the seaguar will brake around its stated lb rating. Another example- Check the mm differences and lb ratings going off of mm. https://www.rapala.com/sufix/braid/832-advanced-superline/832-advanced-superline/832+Advanced+Superline.html https://sufix.fishing/products/832-advanced-superline Basically I use .006" for my spinning reels and .008" for my baitcasters.
  3. Megabass Gloomis St Croix Kistler Rogue Rods
  4. Its a old samsung s4 still going strong
  5. Okuma was my first swimbait rod and it worked very well for the price. I now use Dobyns chapion series swimbait rods and they work excellent. Here is the Curado 301 on a Okuma
  6. ZPI or HedgeHog are excellent.
  7. Fins 40g 5lb to Sunline 6lb flourocarbon
  8. Personally I think this would be good on longer rods 7+feet, it will balance them out a bit better with the added weight of the reel. This reel will be my go to for spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and small swimbaits... Thinking GLX 893
  9. Well there goes my money...
  10. All I want is a shallow spool But I'm sure HedgeHog studio will take care of that for me...
  11. Kistler ML helium 3 would do the job, but its around $200 right now on the Kistler website...
  12. I will take one....asap That PG model would be one awesome crankbait reel
  13. I drop shot two flies using a spinning rod. I usually add a streamer as the bottom fly, as for the top fly I use whatever the hatch is. I like this set-up but it does catch ton of small fish, I only use this set-up for rivers so weight depends on the current in the river.
  14. I just ordered a ML Helium 3 from Kistler a couple days ago. I will let you know what I think when it gets here.... But I have heard good things
  15. I like my Metaniums, but if you wanna bad ass reel get a conquest calcutta 100/101
  16. Jackall TN lipless are my favorite Yozuri rattl'n vibe Lucky Craft LV500
  17. Agreed, I think you can still find them at certain retailers....
  18. I would pick NRX/Megabass/GLX in that order. A good all purpose rod is a 843 NRX
  19. I wonder if 321 would be the better way to go with ceramic bearings since it would coat the metal that the ceramic balls run on... Also where is everyone buying there tsi 321? I found some on Ebay from dadsoletackle shop and wonder if its real... https://www.ebay.com/itm/TSI-321-Specially-Formulated-Synthetic-Lubricant-Fishing-Reel-Bearing-Oil-1oz/172906031231?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D47300%26meid%3D07677fb659d34cf08abf553aec339838%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D401417041596&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
  20. I been thinking about trying 321 myself, from what I have read it stays and lasts longer then any other oil and the tests that have been done are excellent.
  21. What do you consider expensive? Take a look at Sufix and Pline tcb8
  22. I wanted to try a G-Rods pro bass spinning rod but could never find the model I wanted in-stock anywhere. Guess I will just have to deal with Gloomis and Megabss
  23. My Tracker 175 txw 2014 It does what its made to do. @18RangerZ520L No I will not trade you boats.....Well okay I guess I will
