@TnRiver46 thanks for the response
@Mike L perfect info, I was wondering if they were going to say in the meeting then make us figure out how to get in touch with each other ha
So I’m confirmed to fish at Cherokee. Looking to see how the pairing works. I understand it’s a draw, but it will be done via Microsoft Teams. How do they put boaters/co’s in touch with each other? Just trying to figure out those logistics right now.
Morning everyone,
so been a member here for awhile, under swbass but for some reason the reset my password link would not work so I had to create a new user name. But glad to be back and interact with folks again. Moved from NM to VA and have been enjoying chasing both LM and SM out here.
I have a 2019 Hobie pro angler. Looking to move to a lithium battery for running my electronics. Right now I have a lowrance hook revel TS 7”. I would like to add led lights for rigging pre sunup. Also would like to add a charging port for a phone.
can anyone give some input on how many amp hrs I should be looking at. I have been thinking about two nacqua power kits, and the Viking hatch to replace my rear hatch. Would this set up work?
Is that for the entire state or just residents of LA? I know the state is usually very progressive in politics but I believe other members on here have posted that they are out and about again...
I believe TW is outside of LA so if it is a city order they probably aren’t caught up in it.
The Dicks’s in Bristol TN carries no tackle or rods. You can find a limited selection of clothing that’s it. They carry fishing kayaks though ?♂️. I guess a mile to BPS may be a reason they don’t stock anything though they dropped their sponsorship of the classic so I’m guessing they are not seeing a return even as a quasi endemic sponsor.
Finally had good weather, and the females were coming to bed. Caught these two about a hour apart. The first photo she ate a craw and the second a senko. Second ones a new PB!
Up at the cabin: 1.5 square bill your choice of color, trigged craw, senko trig or wacky, tube 3.5 in your choice of color, whopper plopped, pop r, buzz bait, spook, kvd 1.5 flatside, Berkeley dredge, dropshot roboworm or Yamamoto shad shaped worm.
use the colors that suit your water conditions but for soft plastics outside of a dropshot normally green pumpkin of some sort is a good all around start.
Was wondering if anyone plans to fish this? I am looking into it but do not have a boater, so any one who has gone through the registration process and such or a boater looking for a non hit me up.
Thanks!
I’ve seen a couple nice ones up shallow sunning. Super finicky though. Even the bluegil are, I imagine it has to do with the fact eveberyone is fish and they are getting thrown at non stop ha. Might try some early morning or late night tactics soon
Hey looking for some decent places to fish, bank only. Taken three trips to Steele creek and have had some luck but the fish are super pressured. Bluegill, crappie and bass would be on the hit list, I’ve got two lil ones that need to feel a tug on the line. Thanks for any leads!
Paper tourney. Everyone texts in ther final weight. Trailer tourney with text message to confirm take off time. Just a couple things that come to mind. But like @Logan S some started have banned it all together. Good luck!!!
When I go fishing for myself I’m there to catch fish. It’s enjoyable to be outdoors but I don’t go fishing not to catch. Just me.
though when I take my kids it is more about being outdoors enjoying the sights, sounds and smells. Hunting bugs, shells and bones and if we catch something even better!!
I have it on two reels. Seems to flip and pitch better than regular power pro. I also haven’t notice dig or bite in as bad as normal power pro. The question isn’t is it worth it to be but is it to you? I think you’ll like it. Does sun fade pretty quickly though.
I will use a trick worm on a flick shake head. Just something I started doing as the waters I used to fish were heavily pressured and lots of folks were throwing a senko wacky style. Was something a little different and got me bites when I couldn’t on a senko.
@.ghoti. I started having symptoms similar to yours about a week ago. Went in and they wouldn’t test me for covid but they did the flu, came back neg. Two days later pop a fever of 100 go back in they run flu, strep and covid. Was positive for strep and still waiting my covid results. Dr gave me a powerful antibiotic for the strep that would knock out bacterial pneumonia. So far feeling better every day cough is gradually going away but still fatigued. Hopefully yours is not covid sending you positive thoughts!
Try fishing at night, topwater or spinner bait. If that didn’t work I would be trying a tex rig or Carolina rig with a craw, worm, tube or lizard. Green pumpkin would be my starting color.
one thing to wonder about is are there still fish there? Large blooms and -or turnover could have possibly led to a fish kill in a pond that small with possibly nothing surviving. How long has been since you caught a fish there?
