Those are the Picasso smartmouth jig head. I bought them about five years ago thinking I would use them and honestly can't say what size. I think 1/4oz 4/0 hook gammy hook I believe.

Just wondering, if anyone has fished these on a scrounger or not? I've been told the boot tail style baits will throw off the thump from the collar, is that true?

I fish two different rods. I have a glass rod for throwing square bills it's a Rick clunn rod by W&M and I love it. I have a graphite rod I built from mud hole and it's pretty nice, my next stick for throwing cranks will be glass or a blend. I really like what I am reading about the new legend glass from St Criox.

I have a bps xps stalker front load. I carry 8 3700's 1 3600 and to smaller planos plus culling equipment, leader material, and tools. I back boat as a co-angler so I carry a lot never knowing what my boater will want to do. Bag has held up great for 5 years now and I'm rough as hell on it.

Hope to become a huge fan just got a spin bait 80 in thread fin, the most populous bait on my home water.

Here is what I have. I struggle threading plastics so it might be why I have trouble getting bit on this set up. I didn't initially buy these for Keitech though. They might be just a little big, that's a 3.8 rigged up

I have some Picasso jig heads, really nice but haven't caught anything on them yet.

I've had success fishing them t-rigged with an Eco pro tungsten 3/16.

Ok no one locally carries them, I had a boater giver it to me when we were sight fishing last spring fishing senkos. Wanted to get some for this year. Thanks guys

They have red label, mustad, eagle claw, trokar, zoom, and rebel on sale here. Picked up a bunch of hooks. I think someone with ADD runs ours cause they randomly select what to put on sale and when too.

Not sure if you wanna get rid of it all but I believe in Kentucky or Tennessee they have some awesome musky fishing ( I can't remember which though)

I always remembered growing up as a kid and fishing as often as I could, searching for a big ol bass to bight but it never happened. Now I'm glad I can put my son on fish so he enjoys it and never looses enthusiasm, this spring it's my daughters turn!

Most everyone will want to know the power and action of your rods. They also should say a given range for line weight too. i would say yea braid on your spinning rod, but leave a little old mono on there for backing so the braid doesn't slip on the spool. Then use a fc leader. Baitcaster do you use for cranks and plastics or what kind of fishing?

Still debating if I want to run full floro. I've never been a fan of small reels I feel like I'm going to break them. I might be a little big on the reel but it's what feels good in my hand you know, considering using the braid to save money over running straight floro. So my gut feeling paid off last year. I had been on a fire for a week and was headed home for days off. The weather had warmed nicely after a couple late spring cold fronts. My boy wanted to go fishing so I said ok. We headed to a cove that we had caught some bucks in the last time I was home. My gut also said let him pick his poison, he chose a luck e strike crank the freak cause it looks cool. I lined up a good cast that would take him by a big stump and some brush. Next thing I know she came out from under the brush slammed it and he was yelling. That's him in my avatar with his pb, no clue what it ways but his smile made it the best day ever for me.

Try a rage menace grub, gene larew salt craw, and a new one I'm picking up is the Yamamoto psycho dad. They also make some smaller craws. You could also get some Jj's magic or the dye markers at Walmart to enhance your craws even more.

So I just got my new spinning set up ordered. 7'2" med light finesse fast action. I'm pairing it up with a 3000 size reel. What I need is some good input on braid to use. I will be using it to throw a Spybait, jerkbait, Ned rig, drop shot, Neko rig, and possibly really small topwaters if the need came up. So right now I have one spinning outfit with spiderwire stealth glow-vis 15lb as a main line. what should I be looking at for this rod? Casting distance and sensitivity would be my priorities. Thanks!!

Looks like rain and temps dropping into the mid 70 wed-fri wonder how that will mess with the spawners and sight fishing?
