  1. I agree with @WRB I also think that the blades help to give it the swimming action. I have fished the duo spybait so far, in decent visibility. I've only picked up white bass on it so far, I'm sure I'll figure out large and smallmouth soon again.
  2. 1. Tube 2. Tube 3. RC freak squarebill 4. Senko 5. Senko
  3. pick up some tubes and tube jigs. Bass pro makes some really good and cheap ones. Mardi Gras and roadkill colors
  4. Have a 90 in bone. Has caught me smallmouth, large, and whites. I would recommend it but I haven't fished any other color or size.
  5. Lots of options. What power and action rods do you have? Might help to narrow it down a little.
  6. Congrats, I took second one and big bass with .88. That paid me 450 overall. It was a 12" smallie. So never throw em back till after weigh in ha!
  7. Wanted to fish Friday as it was setting up nicely high was 80 light breeze and cloudy, but couldn't because of work. So I got 30 mins Saturday afternoon there was a 30 temp change and winds were blowing 20 out of the northeast. I went to a rock pile I knew and pulled this out on my second cast. I'm guessing around 4lbs @Bluebasser86 are those Wild or stocked bows you have up there? That thing is a tank!
  8. That or find a carp colored rapala or strike king lure should ****** em up
  9. Pistol Pete behind a clear float. The have a rubber band that twist on the line and you can fill with water to sink it some too. Also panther martins are killer, black body with yellow spots, and the yellow body with red spots always produced for me. Both gold and silver blades. Another option we used to do was corn on a hook, no weight or bobber, open bail and watch fow it to swim. Last option a small rapala countdown and fish a erratic retrieve. Good luck
  10. Might look into costa and see if they can make it in your rx, if not I know Oakley will make rx lenses so that might be another option. Good glass is worth the money spent.
  11. I would try the wacky senko or a drop shot fished painfully slow as well, no shaking just holding it on a semi tight line. Bait choice would be a roboworm or gulp minnow
  12. Scuba Steve would make a killing here!!!! To funny man
  13. 3-4 a year, but I fish an extremely rocky lake and they hang up something bad. Actually lost a plug knocker too.
  14. Roboworm rebards. They have worked great for me
  15. Sometimes the bills or lip will get flipped back. Gently pus forward on the edge to see if the cup will pop forward. Don't push extremely hard just enough to flex it. I thought a bunch I had bought were messed up but that's all it took and they swim perfectly now.
  16. Nice fish! I just wish my lake here tat home would start to produce them like that!
  17. Ds baits I'd recommend roboworm 4" straight or curly tail, bold bluegill or hologram shad gulp alive minnow yamamoto cut tail worm zoom trick worm or finesse worm don ivino reapers. All of these have produced for me in clear water for largemouth
  18. What are your water temps there right now? That water looks real clear, if you can see them they can see you which equals hard to catch bass. If it were me I would be fishing that brush on the left side of your photo. Give a little more info, water temp, season, kind of structure and people here will help get you dialed in.
  19. No the reel will still wind, just like it is not catching. I'll try breaking it down next week or to and see what I come up with. I want to learn to work on them, nearest bass pro is a good 8 hr drive.
  20. Never broke them down that far. Usually I'm cleaning the break system and the line guide. Have extremely hard water here and will get build up of calcium and lime if I don't clean it off. @iabass8 thank you for the photos and ***. If I was to need a new pawl or worm gear what recommendations do you have for replacing them?
  21. Guys I have a bps pro qualifier the one that was just discontinued. Last time out the line guide hung up on the right side and won't come back across. I clean my reels 3-4 times a year. Is it a tension issue or am I needing to replace something? Thanks in advance,,,
  22. Nice fish!
  23. I caught a big blue once while fishing a square bill through timber. That fished never rolled just kept trying to stay on the bottom. Thought it was a stripper at first.
  24. Now just upgrade that spinning to get the same feel. I have two ugly stick, they have been banished to fishing for cats and carp ha. Nice fish too congrats!
  25. Congrats and good luck up in ga!!!!!
