  1. My biggest from my farm pond on artificials is 4-9. I'll be using live gills this year to try and top that. Good on ya man! Jason
  2. Spro BBZ-1 Shad's Tru Tungsten 4" Swimbaits Strike King King Shad
  3. Finally got the video uploaded. I still need to put more weight in the bottom to get it to rest at perfect vertical. And never mind my dad talking in the video, he has a hard time seeing the small screen on the camera. http://s63.photobucket.com/albums/h130/Mbjb00/?action=view&current=Swimbait-1.flv
  4. i like to throw them as soon as the morning topwater bite slows. I love throwing them around timber and along the edge of grass/pads. Fish slam them! Jason
  5. Cut the strands of one leg about 1/2" shorter than the other. Will help it walk the dog nicely. Oh, and i only throw the big one. No Jr's here. Jason
  6. thanks for the tips, i was def. going to do another top coat, and i will sand it lightly first.
  7. It's done...Been done for a little while, just getting pics now. Have not tested it yet in a big water application, but in the tub it seemed to work pretty good. Will hopefully get some video of it tomorrow. The second pic i tried to show the flake in the blue, kinda hard to see. Also you'll notice i had some problems with the epoxy not wanting to flow out very well. Oh well, i'll take my time on the next one. Jason
  8. I really like the Money Minnows, and the Strike King Shadilicious. I use the hooks that are sold under YUM name, but not sure if somebody else makes them.
  9. My baby girl is only 16 months old, but i can't wait for the day i can take her out to catch her first fish.
  10. Just wondering what type of jigheads you guys are using on soft plastic swimbaits. I want to try some with an open hook instead of using the weighted hook with it rigged weedless. Thanks. Jason
  11. The Fat 01's will be finding their way into my tackle box. Also a few of the shallow X-rap shads. They look great!!
  12. i agree, pour slowly to allow the trapped air to work it's way out. Tilt the mold slightly if you can, may help the air make it's way to the top and out.
  13. i should have added that the bait is not epoxied together yet, going to seal inside and out before i epoxy together
  14. Got the rest of the hardware istalled. Next will be to seal the wood, then test in the bath tub.
  15. Thanks guys! I put ballast weight on the bottom portion inside the bait on both the front and middle sections. I will test it soon to make sure it balances before i epoxy it all together.
