  1. If your budget allows it then do it. You wont regret it, its awesome. I dont own one but my buddy does and i love using it. Regular casitas is awesome also
  2. I hate micro guides, thats the only downfall in my lews frog rod. I use 65 or 80lb braid and the knot catches on the guides every once in a while. It not a big problem but annoying. When i buy rods i look fod non micro guides
  3. Its not for racing, line handles much better on larger spools.
  4. I like them weightless on a heavy duty hook or texas rigged with a 1/4 or 1/2 tungsten weight. Its a confidence bait, it always comes thru for me. Dont be scared of the size, dinks eat them too
  5. 2 more rods and ill be there
  6. Thays exactly what im looking for
  7. Im also interested in the gambler fat ace
  8. Rods- shimano, daiwa and lews Reels- shimano daiwa and lews
  9. Mine ripped at the straps, within the first fishing trip. I wasnt very loaded either. The straps seemed very thin for a big bag
  10. Worst bag ive ever had, ripped in 1 outing. Tw wouldnt refund my money, they would only exchange for a new one. I opted out and threw it in the garbage instead. Felt robbed
  11. Its an awesome reel, palms great. Its a good workhorse. Theres a huge daiwa bandwagon going around now but that does not mean shimanos are bad. Just means they need to work on advertising. They still make the best reels in my opinion.
  12. That might be what im looking for
  13. Are they thicker? I dont like the 6 inch dingers because they are about the same width as the 5 inchers. The 7 are way thicker and last longer
  14. I love the senkos but i cant throw them in heavy cover. Id go broke lol. I went through 3 bags yesterday in like 3 hour. The yum dingers i only go through 1 bag
  15. I use a leader just so i can break off the line if get a bad snag. Its suck to get snagged using straight braid
  16. Boyaahs never fail me
  17. Sounds good man, Also if anyone has a recommendation of a similar product
  18. Anyone know where I can find them? Im on my last bag, i like the yamamotos too but i use them to flip, punch and skip. the yammys just dont last long. If anyone has any they dont need i will buy them.
  19. It seems to be narrow in the middle, unlike the sticko that is the same with all around.
  20. My local cabelas is way better than the local bps. Sadly that is about to change
  21. 3000 is the eay to go. stronger drag, line flows off spool a lot better, any rod 7 or over will balance better, faster retreive etc.
  22. 8 rods? I use a cheap lews mach2 meduim light rod and i think its a great ned rod. I dont think ive ever tried a bad ned rig rod. Theres not much to a ned rig, just watch the line.
  23. I have a 7ft medium heavy, in my opinion its really sensative. I use braid and a mono leader. I really like the tp1.
  24. Theres a ton of people who talk bad about quantums. I had an energy pt a couple years ago and it was a great reel. Regret selling it honestly
