If its breaking at swivel than i dont think the problem is the teeth. The bottom contact area of the lake might be really rocky which cuts braid like butter. Also sound like your knot might be slipping

I currently have a falcon bucoo medium-fast 7 ft casting. I also have a 6'10 medium -heavy falcon bucoo casting rod. I have a reel left over that i want to buy a rod for. What power or taper would you guy recommend? I already have a swimbait set up also. Im looking to throw 3/4 jigs and carolinas. Thanks for your help
