Big game is great. Ive been using it for years. Its very tough, low memory. You wont need 15lb, its underrated. 12lb is what i use and its more than enough. Get the lo vis green
So im gonna be buying a stella, i prefer the 2500 sizes but i like that the xg3000 has a higher speed ratio and slightly larger spool. Is it possible to replace the t-knob that comes with the 3000 to a smaller shimano knob that comes in the 2500? I hate t knobs.
Thanks
Not trying to cause any arguments. But 90% of the time i use spinning gear. Ive caught plenty fish throwing spinnerbaits and "burning" lipless crankbaits. I also throw jigs on a heavy spinning set up. It might not be as effective as a BC but it gets the job done
Ive caught most of my fish on berkley big game. But i also use flouro and braid. Big game is my all time favorite. I guess different thing work for different people
Today i caught a 4 pounder on a zoom lizard. I had it in my kayak when the fish made its last attempt to unhook itself and my snap swivel broke. I lost the fish with the hook in its mouth
This exact thing happened with my *** black, they refused to replace it after less than a year. It was a great rod but i disagree with their customer service.
