  1. 10lb braid is the way to go. I like pp8 slick
  2. If fishing from bank, 6'10 shimano. From boat 7'3 shimano
  3. I just tried it for the first time. I like it a lot better than regular pp
  4. Fan cast a wacky, its my go to bait from the bank
  5. I had a *** *** and a ***. Got rid of them fast. I dont understand the hype. I decided to just stick with falcon and shimano
  6. Best bet is to tie as much leader as you think youll use all day fishing. That way you dont have to retie again
  7. I always tie around 6ft of leader. Never had a problem
  8. Get the new citica i's, they are awesome at a great price. For rods i really recommend falcon bucoos
  9. Ive been using 15lb big game for texas and frogs. Ive caught fish but i cant stand the stretch. Im switching back to braid with a 20lb big game leader
  10. Last week i caught a 4lber on a spinnerbait. Next cast i caught it again on the same exact kvd spinner. Ive gone to that spot 4 times now. Every single time i have caught her, even my friend caught her a couple days ago. Youd think shed get smarter
  11. Your right, it must be the alcohol. Im lost here lol my english isnt all that good in understanding sarcasm
  12. I caught my first big bass on a yum dinger, pumkin with chartreuse tip. I thought its was close to 10lbs lol it turned out to be a 5lber. My newphew caught his first big bass last week. He caught a 4lber using a grub with a weedless exposed hook. It was priceless watching him fight the fish, he is only 5 years old. Now hes hooked on fishing and i always gotta bring him on my trips
  13. Popcorn is in the oven
  14. I have 3 citica i's in leftys. Awesome reels
  15. That was the first reel i ever caught a bass on. Over 3 years ago. Have not used it since. Ill pull it out tomorrow for some fishing
  16. Depends on which rod, most of mine have exposed blanks and i dont feel them uncomfortable
  17. The crucial just feels more sturdy, i have 3 zodias and they all have a weird rattle. But your money is well spentbon any of the 2 rods
  18. I have both, zodias is an awesome rod but for me the crucial is probably the best rod i own
  19. I also use big game and have never had a problem. I prefer mono over copolys but flouro is better than both
  20. I was a big spinning believer and i recently bought a couple baitcaster. It makes frogging and texas rigging a lot easier. I still use spinning for most of my fishing but i definetly understand why people use baitcasters. Now i throw any weighted baits on the baitcaster. Leaving plastics for spinning gear
  21. Mettle/ethos is an awesome set up For spinning id go with a president/cabelas tourney trail for around $100. I have both of these combos and they are great and theyre warranties are better
  22. I was watching a video i forgot who the fisherman was but he was going on about how great his lure was. And he didnt catch a single fish the whole day he even said it. I can understand why bill dance used private lakes. Like yhe guy up there said, its a teaching aid
  23. Cabelas tourney trail, their medium rods are right in between a medium and medium heavy. The sweet spot.
