  1. Scot, I think your best and possibly only option with Lowrance is Navionics.
  2. That's the one that scares me. When my hair gets fluffy and my line jumps lol
  3. It's a deluge with lightning bolts every time I come this year ?
  4. Yes Sir, that one. The thunder and lightning ruined my plans this morning so I fished Six Mile this afternoon. It was rough. 3 bass and a bream lol. Tried almost everything you can out deep around Gilley's. Nothing. Idled over two or three more spots in 20' and saw nothing. Moved to about 12 feet deep and fished a grass line to catch the few I caught on that Neko rig I was trying out. Hopefully, the weather will let me fish tomorrow morning.
  5. Yes Sir, the rest is all lagniappe now! Congrats on that 7! That's awesome. Everything is rigged and ready so we'll see tomorrow. It's either Rayburn or Gaucho, depending on the weather.
  6. Finally made it! So far all I figured out was how to fix my camper awning. Dirty sob! Might go to Palo Gaucho in the morning. Very interested in any lessons concerning the mouth of Gaucho. It seems to have all the ingredients to be a good area. I just haven't fished it enough... yet.
  7. I'm waiting on the Mississippi to fall a little more, myself. Hard to beat them run outs with current.
  8. Maybe next week I'll get to try again. Toledo at night and Rayburn in the day... I hope.
  9. Never had a bad experience staying at Fin & Feathers. Nice rooms, very good food, good area. Enjoy and good luck.
  10. It's a work frenzy right now. Be there to report as soon as I can. Get well soon Blaster.
  11. Gotta work. Good luck!
  12. Next time I go to The Bend I will be ?
  13. Had orthroscpoic surgery on my knee in 88. No complaints there. Also, I should have been more specific. No fusion back surgery. Hope you feel better. Grind it out like me but it's definitely discouraging. I should change my name to Joe The Grinder ? Haha gotta laugh... ? Hope ya'll have a great weekend. They caught an 11 something and 10 something today. Pretty cool.
  14. Blaster, I hope you feel better soon. Whatever you do... DO NOT have back surgery. Went in with one bad leg came out with two. Still suffering almost two years later.
  15. Not me. I'm out. Rather go clean up the other camp on the Mississippi in preparation for the falling water and a bite on every cast or so. Good luck, though.
  16. It was too early for beds but the most bream I've ever seen on the south end was the on the east side of Bull out of Jack's 944. Hope that helps and good luck.
  17. I tried all them baits deep the best I could in them giant lake waves from the mouth of Six Mile to the mouth of Mill. Idled and searched a lot, also. Weak results. At least I caught one nice 6.5 pounder on a jerk bait. Probably go try mid lake or Rayburn tomorrow.
  18. Thank you Sir. I have that on my regroup plan. We'll see how it goes ?
  19. Only caught two on a ribbit in 3 hours this afternoon but I ain't mad. Just glad to be here. Got all day tomorrow to regroup.
  20. Well, I guess I was wishful thinking for you cause I should have known better lol. Glad y'all caught some. Might finally get to go back next week.
  21. But he caught it on the Louisiana Coonass side ?
  22. You're welcome bud. Insert other media never works for me. Did you try the "click to choose files button"?
  23. Congrats Blaster!
  24. Might not be too crowded cause the Big Bass Splash is going down at Rayburn. Good luck.
  25. I was working all day and almost all night to get back but now I can slow down and get back after. I totally agree, operationgrass.
